So I will say my food was good however my server was extremely I unknowledgeable about gluten allergies. My sister and I are both celiac and we expressed that and asked if their chicken nachos were gluten free. Our server (who was training a new server) said all of their Gluten free food was prepared separately and the chips were fried in a separate fryer. My sister and I were ecstatic about this as we can rarely get nachos. However a few minutes later a manager came out and told us that the chips were in fact not fried in a separate fryer And that they were Gluten friendly not celiac friendly. Our food ended up coming out well we both got chicken sandwiches and neither of us had a reaction and the food was good however it’s really unfortunate that their staff is not trained properly regarding allergies. Especially since she was training a new server!

Our waiter did not have that much knowledge. She recommended the Mac & cheese haha and was bad at service in general. I ended up getting the grilled chicken, broccoli, and mashed potatoes no gravy. Very delicious and did not get sick. -celiac sensitive to cross contamination

While the staff was not terribly knowledgeable, the manager went above and beyond to ensure that I was able to eat a few things. However, you have to be very clear and ensure that the kitchen takes care. I tested everything with my Nina sensor, and the chicken and eggs came back clear. They made me grits as well, but was served in a cast iron bowl that did test positive for gluten.

Had an amazing experience. Great service (Sarah) and food. Explained being celiac and also allergic to dairy and soy. Server spoke to head chef (Fernando Acosta)and they helped design a meal for me. Best GF bun I've ever had! Definitely coming back!

Such a fun little place. We are visiting Charlotte and went on a friend’s recommendation. We went with kids, but the restaurant was full of young professionals for dinner and drinks later in the night (Friday). They were able to make the shrimp & grits GF 😋. We also had a burger on a GF bun. The fries were cooked in a contaminated fryer, but no issues from my least sensitive celiac kid. They had several fun cocktails made with Tito’s. I’d definitely go back next time we are in town.
