I’m a little late in my review (I went in 06/23), but this is such an amazing find! I dragged a friend over in the pouring rain after a visit to the castle, and it was more than worth the soggy shoes. I tried several of the pastries, and every bite was divine.

Lovely food, separate toaster for GF food and all food is prepared fresh! Had scrambled eggs, bacon and toast! The owner even told me they have their own homemade gluten free sausages. Very safe place to eat and will answer all questions. Will tell you what you can have GF from the menu. Also have array of sweet cakes and pastries which are all gluten free for sale.

Delightful little cafe near Grassmarket, fantastic GF pastries (had the carrot cake and the polenta raspberry loaf, both great). Will definitely be coming back to try their lunch sometime as well as everything can be made GF according to our waitress.

Great choice of GF options here and they seem to have a sound understanding of other dietary issues. I believe one of the owners is coeliac, so you’re in safe hands! However, the food is just okay and the coffee leaves a lot to be desired. I visited twice for breakfast as they are open early and I knew I would be eating safe.

We noticed the gluten free on their store front and went in for lunch. They were so friendly and very knowledgeable about gluten free. They can make a lot of their dishes GF and have a shelf in the pastry area that is only gluten free. Highly recommend.

We have three celiacs in my family and we went here two days in a row. It was such a cute cafe with tons of gluten free options. They didn’t have gf items listed, but all you have to do is ask and the servers will tell you all the options available to you. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable about gf options, especially since the owner also has celiac. Almost everything can be accommodated to be gluten free. We felt very reassured and loved all the food we ordered, from soups to sandwiches and more. Highly recommend this place!

If you are in Edinburgh you cannot miss this cafe! I had a delicious ham and cheddar tartine and a fabulous pastry. Everything is gluten free or can be made gluten free. The owners are very friendly people too. It was such a wonderful lunch experience after touring the Edinburgh Castle!

They can make almost every menu item gluten free and they have a daily selection of gluten-free patisserie. I had an almond and pear tart and a chocolate bomb—absolute heaven, genuinely one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten. I felt so safe and well taken care of at this restaurant! We actually went back several times and the owner packed us a gf lunch for the train. The carrot cake was delicious! I truely wish we had one of these in Florida!

An entire row in their case contained gluten free awesomeness. The owners are wonderful people - told them I was walking the west highland way - they made extra scones and wrapped them up for my walk. I could not find any GF scones the entire walk so this meant a lot! One of the owners is GF herself.

I ordered a delicious GF sandwich as well. Love this place and can’t wait to go back when I return to Edinburgh
