This place has a lot of gluten free items and I appreciate it but they aren't good! So disappointing. I went here for mother's day recently and was so excited about the waffles. They were like lead and the texture mealy. Tried the pancakes and the texture was gross. It's nice to have gluten free but if you're going to have it please at least make it right! I was so looking forward to pancakes or waffles and these were not worth it! Also very pricey.

I was assured that gf food is prepared separately. I ordered the French toast. Pretty good, with the exception that multigrain is not my personal favorite to use for French toast. Batter was good, and it was cooked to perfection. I sampled my bf's omelet, it was very fluffy and good too. I am a very sensitive Celiac, with IBS as well. No reaction. P.S. They also have gf hollandaise sauce!

Staff is wonderful at accommodating celiac disease. Their GF good is delicious.

UPDATE 7/30/23: Server informed me the fries are made in a shared fryer and are not suitable to people with celiac disease.

The service was HORRIBLE! The manager said they were down a few people, however, our waiter was too busy talking with other employees. He later apologized for the wait. The food was a crap shoot. Some of us had good food, one plate was sent back and a couple people sucked it up and ate it. The manager, rather than taking off the plate that was sent off the bill, tried to give us a 10% off 1 item. When we questioned it, he asked why we were coming after HIM.

I would not a dollar there.

We arrived around 2pm…not a busy time of day. When I asked our server if they had a gluten free menu, she simply replied “no”. I then asked if she could please tell me what my gluten free options were. She then said “well we have gluten free bread”. Yeah that’s so not helpful. I ended up with a hamburger patty…figured that was the safest bet. Would definitely not waste my money or risk contamination here. Not worth it. Was super disappointed as it got such good reviews. So many better options in Reno.

GF girl from NJ - we stopped in after flying in to Reno and were so pleased. My hubby and I shared a turkey club and the crack chicken. Both were equally amazing. We will be stopping in again when we depart from Reno. Food and service were top notch.

Great food and lots of gf options. Bloody Mary's are delicious, breakfast in a cup. Knowledgeable staff and answered all of our questions.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I have had the GF French toast, juevos rancheros, and chilaquiles. They have all been delicious and I haven’t gotten sick. Make sure to tell them it needs to be gluten free, even if it says GF on the menu. They will ask of it is an allergy; say yes if you have any gluten sensitivity or celiac so that they know to be extra careful.

First time here at Lili's restaurant. As my child is t1d/Celiac. Maria the server was wonderful ans was able to let us know what are replacements for Gf. She went above and beyond to also show us the syrup nutrition facts to calculate the carbohydrate for our T1D. We definitely come back here again.

Tina, our server was phenomenal. She gave us lots of tips and pointers as to what to order. We got the gluten free hula waffle (bananas, coconut, mango), and the Tuesday taco special. Everything was delicious and we had tons of food leftover.

I've had gf pancakes here twice, and felt great afterward (well, as good as you can feel after pancakes). It's certainly not a health-conscious menu, so it was surprising that they care to offer gf options. I would go again.

The food was really good and lots of choices for gluten-free. Service was super slow though. We had to wait nearly an hour for our food.

This is my favorite breakfast place. The gluten free bread comes from a local dedicated GF facility (Haven). The bacon, home fries, and eggs are delicious and celiac safe. The people working here seem to know celiac protocol and how to prevent cross contamination.

We have 4 celiacs in our family of 6 and we all very much liked our food! We had omelettes, eggs, toast and chicken club sandwich with fruit. The food was large portions and tasty! Everything was fresh..very good fruit bowl!! They cook pancake and waffle and on separate iron and toast is separate toaster and food came out separated from non gluten food. Staff was awesome and happy to answer questions and knowledgeable i.e. told us the fries are in the same fryer with non gluten food. We will be back next time in Reno!

Best gluten free breakfast I’ve ever had. They have an extensive amount of options- everything from gluten free Belgian waffles to gluten free sandwiches. Love this place!

I went here for breakfast and had a delicious omelet, the cowboy, with house potatoes. And not only was it delicious, but I did not have any symptoms. I will definitely be back there tomorrow for breakfast and any other time I come back to Reno. And I look forward to trying another delicious gluten free meal.

I loved my experience here! the waitress was amazing she was so patient when I asked several questions and went and asked the kitchen several questions. I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and it's been hard ordering at places always feeling like I'm a pain. but not Lili's they were so friendly and made sure my food was made properly.

Every time I am in Reno Lili’s is my go to restaurant for breakfast (pancakes, French toast, breakfast sandwiches). The staff is knowledgeable about gf/celiac issues and they have separate spaces for preparing gf food to avoid cross contamination. It’s a very friendly place.

Fresh, hot, food that is served up quickly & tastes great. Our server walked us through the GF options in the menu. The pancakes were spectacular!! Lili's a MUST when I'm in Reno.

I visit Reno a hand full of times a year. Today was the third time I have eaten at Lil's. FANTASTIC gluten free waffles! Real butter and maple syrup. Lots of other gluten and dairy free choices. Prompt seating. Clean. Great service at the right price!

OK. I love Hawaii, and I feel like I stepped into it here. waitress very accommodating for gluten free. Will definitely come back.!

Lili's is amazing. I have been there 8 or so times in the past couple months. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable about what is or isn't gluten free and they are always more than willing to double check for you. I have tried a lot of restaurants trying to find places with gluten free and most of them will slip up after the 2md or 3rd visit. I have never gotten sick from Lili's. I think Lili's has just more integrity than most restaurants. At any rate, these people do an amazing job and actually seem to care - and it is very refreshing. 10/10 would recommend

In adding to the other fantastic reviews, let me just say YES!!!! As a newly diagnosed celiac, I was terrified of eating anything outside of my own kitchen. Had lunch there and not only are there many many GF options, our server Marie was really knowledgable. I had a cheeseburger and fruit. My burger was perfectly cooked, and the onion, tomato and lettuce were very fresh as was the fruit. I will be back!!!!

One word WAFFLES!! And they have pancakes and French toast too. The decor is a bit older but don't let that scare you away, the food is fresh and really good.

Traveling cross country with my fiancé and found this place on my app. As a celiac traveling with allergies is difficult but this restaurant had knowledgeable staff! I got the gluten free Belgium waffles and a fried egg. I had no reaction at all and it was delicious! Best gf waffles I've had yet in my 3 years of being a celiac! If I'm ever back in Reno I'm coming back for those waffles!

This place is very accommodating for gluten free allergies. TJ came out to personally discuss our gluten free options. He explained thoroughly specific items that need to be avoided like anything fried due to cross contamination. Even the children's menu can be made gf! The kids had the pancakes and grilled cheese which were delicious. Both said its the best they ever had! I had the monte cristo modified with gluten free bread and it was amazing! Tj said it would be an experiment and it turned out so yummy! We will be definitely visiting every time we come to Reno! It is a MUST to come here to eat if you are ever in the neighborhood!!!

I had the Monte Cristo. at first the server said she didn't think they could make it gf but she asked the kitchen and they did. it was awesome....I haven't had a Monte Cristo in years!!! Service was excellent.

I have celiac and I was glutened. The food was delicious but the service was awful. If you have celiac I would strongly recommend you do not eat there.
