The owner, Kelly, has a great knowledge of gluten and cross-contact procedures, as well as every inch of her menu. They offer gluten free bread for sandwiches, and if you tell them it’s an allergy, they will note it and alert the kitchen to use a separate prep area. There are also always at least two gluten free dessert options! It’s a wonderful place with a great store, definitely worth a stop.

They have recently started serving gluten free options and will gladly take precautions to ensure no cross contamination if you let them know when ordering. I've had the chicken salad sandwich with a side of potato salad so far with no issues.

A few GF food options at this Mercantile and very friendly staff. They do have GF bread. If your passing through during breakfast or lunch stop for the friendly staff, a look through the Mercantile, and have something from the menu. We had breakfast casserole which comes with toast and homemade jam.
For those in your party that don't have a Gluten allergy they have some of the prettiest cake and bake goods!
As far as GF they have No-bake cookies, Opossum Pie, Coconut Macaroons, a their signature cookie...Ponca! ... Peanut Butter, Oats, Chocolate, Apricots.. Stop for a coffee too!
