When I made the reservation there was a space to mark “gluten allergy.” I took this as a good sign that they would be aware of my needs. Unfortunately it was clear that the server had no idea when we sat down to a basket of bread and were served complimentary bruschetta. It’s fine, my husband ate it. The server clearly had no idea about gluten free options except that GF pizza and pasta were available and she could check with the chef. I ordered seafood pasta.
The sauce and seafood were delicious. The pasta was … crunchy. I think in some spots it sat under a broiler or heat lamp but overall it was clearly not cooked all the way. However, this was reassuring that it was GF.
The dessert menu has THREE gluten free desserts (plus gelato). I’ve had them all on various occasions. They are delicious and the portions are huge (especially for something so rich). They could easily serve 2.
I give the dessert 5 stars but the dinner experience 3. My food was safe but clearly my needs and making me feel welcome and included were afterthoughts at best, which is disappointing in an Italian restaurant.

I regularly order pizza from here both takeout and dine in. Staff is consistently knowledgeable. I’ve never had issues with cross contamination here though I’ve known people who have.

They do not handle gf well. I received pieces of regular pasta on my plate with the gf pasta so no concept of cross contamination

Our waitress was very professional and well-informed about allergies. I react severely to gluten. I was absolutely fine after a delicious meal of seafood and penne pasta in a vodka sauce. The dessert, a peanut butter tart, was devine. I brought most of it home. She knew what I could have, and asked when she was unsure. I will certainly dine there in the future.

Has special gf menu. Just needs gf bread!!
Served me the wrong beer - NOT GF. Then said the special was GF. It came out on a bed of barley. They then insisted barley is GF. Ummm. Google it. Never going back.
GF pasta is good. Staff is very knowledgable. Would be better if they had GF bread.

Delicious and very GF friendly!! Even pasta options! Will definitely return.
Excellent experience. Server and chef very knowledgable with gluten allergy. Offered many GF options including pasta. Also, chef prepared calamari sautéed instead of fried. Everyone at the table preferred the sautéed version. We had a great experience and have enjoyed many meals at this establishment. If you like an energetic atmosphere with excellent food, this is the place to go!
