Had a burger without a bun. Was told the owner or owners son has celiac. Several options. Got a gf muffin at the counter. It’s on a separate display.

Didn't eat in the restaurant but they have an adjoining coffee shop where I bought a single size GF Olallieberry Pie. It was delicious. Clearly marked as GF on the box and on the pie itself in pastry.

It is reassuring to see gf and gfo on a menu by quite a few choices. I had a burger on a gf bun. They don’t have a dedicated fryer so the fries were not an option. The highlight was warm, fresh berry pie with ice cream. It is such a treat to get gluten free dessert. They also sold pies to go.

Excellent food and very informed staff, able to accommodate allergies. Many items on menu are GF or GFO (gluten free option). My son really enjoyed the moonstone beach omelet with GF toast; they offered two options of GF muffins but both had dairy so he stuck to toast. They cooked the omelet in olive oil too in order to accommodate his dairy allergy. I had the classic omelet (GF) and it was also very good. Neither of us had any reaction and we are both very sensitive.
Highly recommend this place.

Visiting nearby Hearst Castle for the day. Stopped for breakfast on the way and enjoyed some hot and fluffy gf pancakes. My husband loved the stuffed French toast ( not gf but could be) After adding an afternoon tour and looking at the sad food court options we returned for lunch. The 10 minute drive was worth it! Gf bread and buns available. I had a delicious burger with a side salad and my husband enjoyed homemade tomato basil soup and a gooey grilled cheese sandwich. He also took some pie to go. Gf baked goods available. Both visits included attentive table service and some friendly chats with the owners. Will definitely return when nearby again.

Was so excited to eat here based on all the reviews. However, when I called to double check on their precautions on avoiding cross contamination, I was disappointed. My question: "Do you guys make or prepare your gluten free food away from your food containing gluten?" Answer: "Sadly we do not" It was young man who answered the phone and he was pretty firm. So, to be cautious I did not eat here. Hopefully the young man was mistaken. But just didn't want to take the chance.

Good food. Menu specified gluten free items, and items they could make gluten free. They didn’t offer gluten free pie for dinner but I was able to pick one up at the bakery for later. I had a hamburger - the hamburger bun was delicious. Fries were not fried separately so they were not gluten free.

Everything tasted so good! There were tons of gluten free options including gluten free bread for the sandwiches and buns for the hamburgers. Definitely recommend coming here. I had the turkey melt on gluten free bread and sweet potato fries and didn’t get sick.

Before diagnosed celiac, this place was a family favorite—particularly the olallieberry pie. Guess what? You can have it Gluten free now AND the delicious olallieberry muffins, too! (Though my toddler more accurately called them cake, ha! They are certainly a delectable treat.) We had breakfast here and they took my concerns seriously; I could even eat the breakfast hash browns!!

We ordered dinner to go. The staff at the counter was pretty knowledgeable about options and happily added notes for the kitchen staff. The menu has lots of options noted. My only complaint is that they put my husband’s pasta in a flimsy box on top of my order in the take-out bag, and it had leaked by the time we got back to the hotel. They had fortunately packed my meal in a tight sealed plastic box so nothing had leaked in. So - if you order take out, just make sure they give you an entirely separate bag for GF meals. It seems like they pack the normal meals in less sturdy containers. The food was delicious, and I didn’t have any bad celiac symptoms afterward.

While staying in Cambria, we visited Linn’s for dinner so that I could get a gluten free hamburger and fries. It was very good. So we went back again for breakfast. This time I had the gf pancakes with olallieberry syrup. Yum! The service and ambience were top notch.

Gluten free was clearly marked on menu. Either as totally gluten free (GF) or they have an option to make it gluten free (GFO). Servers were knowledgeable. Be sure to ask about gf bread they first brought out normal bread but then gf bread when asked. No reaction at all!
Yes
Our waiter (Jason) was so helpful. He pointed areas of possible cross-contamination including that the fries weren’t safe as they are in a shared fryer and the kitchen pan roasted potatoes separate for me instead. I had a wonderful meal with no reaction. (I’m celiac)
Yes
Excellent food and service. GF clearly marked on menu and many options.

My 12 year old daughter who has celiac ordered the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were huge. It came with brocolli and brown rice ("very good brown rice" she says). They also brought three slices of gluten free bread to the table for her on a separate plate when they served the rest of the table bread. She is very sensitive and did not get sick. We did not eat dessert but they do sell several kinds. There was a berry pie in it's own package that looked like it might be OK. However, the other GF desserts were in the dessert case right next to muffins with a crumbly topping. That seems risky.
Yes
A good variety of GF options, servers knowledgeable. Brought out gf table bread after we ordered. Great food, range of gf desert wish we’d had room!! Cosy gf friendly restaurant.
Yes
Cyclist friendly, Aron Finn, has gluten free menu with homemade comfort food. Eddie B, my coach would say, “eat how you can.” Great atmosphere, cycling friendly and great food.
NIMA FOUND GLUTEN. I visited here twice during my stay. The first time was great... I ordered an Asian salad and was told the owner has celiac and they take it very seriously. The salad was great and I had no reaction. The 2nd time was a different story- I ordered a burger with a side salad (no fries because of a shared fryer). I explained that I had celiac and needed them to be careful. The salad came out with croutons and was on the same plate as the burger. The server took it back, told me they made a new salad and switched the plate. I used my Nima and it found gluten in the burger. The server was not very friendly, but the charge was removed from our bill and the owner apologized. I might give them a chance again, but would stick to a salad.
No
Lots of GF options to choose from here. Prices are a bit high. What was disappointing is that the desserts are in cases with non-GF baked goods. Leaves me to wonder if they understand cross-contamination...
That being said, our server was amazing and she went out of her way to get us mini GF pies that are packaged right away and not put with gluten-containing products.

Went here for dessert after dinner elsewhere in Cambria -- highly recommend! We stopped at the little baked goods counter to the left of the dining room entrance and were able to get a warm slice of their gf olallieberry pie and a slice of brownie cheesecake, both of which were phenomenal. The woman behind the counter was actually *excited* to hear that I was gluten free because she was proud of how many options they had to offer. Service was wonderful, and the dessert was worth a visit to Cambria all on its own.
Yes
Are here for lunch and had the best burger! Gf bun fell apart on the bottom but that is normal. Delicious and felt safe eating here.
Yes
Hurray! Delicious GF food and a variety to choose from. However, be sure to be clear w your waiter re GF. The sweet potato fries are marked GF, but our waiter knew to tell us that the same fryer was used for gluten foods. All of the GF desserts have casein except for yummy pecan cookies. Enjoy!
Très bonne nourriture. Menu sans gluten. Personnel très gentil et compréhensif. Bonne place à aller avec jeunes enfants.

Wow wow wow! Just had an amazing half chicken with bbq sauce, Asian slaw and refried beans followed by chocolate brownie cheese cake. All food on the menu is clearly labelled gf. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

A great GF experience. The manager/owner (I couldn't quite tell) knew exactly what I was talking about the moment I told him I was celiac. GF items clearly marked. And the pie! Lots of GF options: ollalieberry, cheesecake, muffins, cookies. They also ship pies. I felt the staff went out of their way to accommodate, and knew a lot about gluten and especially celiac.
They have incredible gf pie! Really that’s the only thing that drew me there initially. Once there, the whole place is wonderful! It’s like a compound of quaint Cambria. My only wish is a menu with gf options on it. Grilling the cashier is a special kind of icky, because all gf people know the eye rolling and judgement we get from the line behind. This particular cashier wasn’t too knowledgeable but was willing to check with cooks, thus increasing my time at the register....something I hate to do. But once through it was wonderful and the ambiance is lovely!
Gluten Free Pie. Do I need to say anything more?
Great food, great service and the staff is very knowledgeable about GF options, which are outlined on the menu.
Waiter was knowledgable about the gluten free options. They have a gluten free bread for the sandwiches and burgers. They had run out of the bread by out lunch on Tuesday. The fries are not an option as they share a fryer. But the waiter had many options that could be substituted. I ordered the Hearst Burger, which was good without the bun and probably would have been fantastic with.
Lots of GF options.
Yes
just dined here for dinner and lunch. the waitstaff was very knowledgeable about Celiac and they had quite a few gf offerings including incredible muffins and desserts! My daughter was in heaven and we loved the atmosphere and great little town too!
Yes
Tried it today we were assured even the fries were celiac safe and we havent had a reactiin. Labelled menu, tasty options, 4 choices for dessert! Also amazingly good iced tea.
The waiter wasn't aware of GF options and didn't return to tell me the information he discovered. They have one type of GF bread which is good, but easily falls apart. The GF muffin I tried was very dense and not good at all. The food caused no symptoms though which is a plus.
Love it! My daughter is highly sensitive to gluten. We have eaten here 3 times with no problems. They even offer bread, butter, & ollieberry preserves while waiting for your food (gluten free)! I don't feel guilty chowing down on my bread.
Yes
My husband and I came here for breakfast. The menu is clearly labeled with GF & GFO and there are a lot of options. I got the Cheves omelet, hubby the Main Street classic omelet. Both were gluten free, came with muffins (there were 2 options for muffins) Service was good & the location is beautiful. Definitely a great place & I'll be going back on my next visit to Cambria.

I got the artichoke appetizer and hamburger no bun with sweet potato French fries. unfort I was way too full to get gf dessert.
