We had a great lunch at Local Lime. Our waitress was knowledgeable and accommodating. I asked if kitchen staff could wipe down the surfaces to avoid cross contact and they ensured us that foods don’t touch the work surfaces and stay on the plates but they would change gloves. Chips are fried in dedicated fryer. We were happy to see lots of gluten free options for our celiac!

Probably my favorite restaurant in LR, never been sick here! Food is really good but sides are meh, cheese dip and chips are a must they are fried in a separate fryer and are some of the best chips ever! Also love their margaritas, truly the best I’ve ever had

My family and I ate here a month ago. The 3 Cheese Steak Nachos are listed as gluten free. I've listed exactly as they are stated on their menu. The drunken pinto beans contain beer. The beer is not a gluten free beer. I questioned the waitress, she went and asked the kitchen how they were fixed and confirmed beer was in the recipe. The waitress proceeded to tell me that the beer would be cooked out of the meal. Gluten can't be cooked out of food. I told her that they needed to look at all their ingredients in their meals and correct their gluten free items so they are free of wheat, barley, rye and oats or any of their derivatives. My children and I will never eat here again.

Dedicated fryer for chips. Everything was labeled, great for dairy allergy too.

I had the Acapulco Salad with shrimp, the Mexican street corn and chips and salsa. Everything was extremely fresh and delicious.

So good. GF items marked with icons on the menu. Chips were GF, and I had carnitas tacos with black beans and cilantro lime rice. Very filling.

Great options!! I love their salsas

The food was VERY good and the menu is clearly marked. They have a dedicated fryer for chips. Only negative is that the pinto beans say GF but they are cooked in beer.

Delicious! All chips are made in a dedicated fryer and all the food is marked on the regular menu as GF. The atmosphere and great waiter topped off the experience!

Shout out to my waitress Debby! She was fantastic - I ordered fajitas and she double checked with the kitchen if the chicken marinade was gluten free and wrote gluten free on the slip and made sure the kitchen knew to keep my dish free of gluten. Dedicated fryer for their tortilla chips and salsa trio was amazing. Didn't get sick and left with a full stomach. I would suggest this restaurant to others with celiac/gluten issues. Of course, just always make sure you tell your server you have to avoid gluten so they take the correct cross contamination precautions.

One of our favs before being gf and still is. Chips are gf now. Just wish the Dixon Chicken Enchiladas were too.

Fantastic option for GF dining. Excellent food and margaritas. Staff is educated or quick to check with management. I would quickly give them a five star if they served GF chips from a dedicated fryer unfortunately not an option yet.

An wide variety of gluten-free options (my favorite are the grilled fish tacos) directly on the menu!! Plus the cheese dip is GF which SAVED me because so many Mexican restaurants put flour in their cheese dip to thicken it up. Great food -- safe environment.
