Review of Lodge Wood Fired Grill

Well, on the downside they accidentally mixed up my order with another similar but not-GF order. This is of course a risk any time one is eating in a restaurant that serves gluten. On the plus side, they discovered the problem before I had eaten any of the gluten-containing portion of my meal, apologized profusely, sent out the manager, and bent over backwards to make it right. It remains to be seen whether I’ll get sick from cross-contact with gluten on my plate, but honestly they took it extremely seriously and I could tell they were all just horrified that this could have happened in their establishment.

I’ll probably still eat here again next time I come. And at least I got extra shrimp? 🤷🏻‍♀ Tomorrow I’m eating in a restaurant in Chehalis that is reported to be all gluten free…

And this is why I rarely eat out.
