Great seafood dishes. We ate here without a problem. They were very knowledgeable about gluten issues.

The chef came out to my table and offer suggestions and he personally made my food. The food was good and hearty. I got the Sea bass pan seared with potatoes and a side salad with ranch and a pina colada with captain Morgan’s rum. No reaction: chef said there was a separate, dedicated workspace. Service was excellent!

We enjoyed our meal here. I had the sea bass which was available and as marked gluten free option on the menu. Our kids (2 of them are also celiac) enjoyed the option for fruit and sorbet as their meal here. They also had special fruit slush drinks. We didn’t have any difficulties and spoke with a chef who prepared my meal and brought them out as allergy dishes.

Waitress (Mary) was very knowledgeable and was so accommodating. She showed me the allergy pad she was writing my order on and confirmed that gluten was my allergy. My food was brought out first and she said that was because the kitchen wanted to make my entree first. I ordered the Wharf Burger with a gluten free bun and roast potatoes instead of fries because they don’t have a separate fryer.

A few entrees are gluten free, and most of them could be made gluten free if you ask. The appetizer I got was shrimp cocktail, however there were only 4 shrimp so that was kind of disappointing.

Update: Jan 2021- I was excited to eat here again sense it was so good a few years ago...The menu has changed and they offered very few options. I chose a chicken sandwich, it was good but nothing great for 21.00...the waitress was very put out by my questions. I would not go here again.

I really appreciate that amusement parks have caught on to GF options....even if it's because it's a fad vs. have to for us Celiacs. This Restaurant has a good amount of choices and is reasonably priced. They have a dedicated GF fryer for the fries. I had the Mahi Mahi Grilled sandwich and was expecting a lettuce wrap, but to my surprise it was on a GF bun...our waitress was very patient as I went through my barrage of questions before ordering and she was very GF knowledgable. The kitchen does have a dedicated GF area where the food is prepared...but the grill is shared...I would go here again if I was in Universal again.

The manager came out and said he would talk to the chef about any menu item I was interested in. I ordered the Chicken Sausalito(GF)- $26 (Seared skin-on chicken breast, charred broccolini, roasted tri-color ngerling potatoes, black cherry gastrique, creamy white wine sauce). The manager said the cherry gatrique is not GF but we ordered it on the side since my husband and I were splitting this plate. The manager came to check on us several times. We waited about 30-35 minutes for the food and unfortunately when it came out we found 3 hairs while we were cutting the chicken. The waitress happened to be there and saw them too so she took the whole meal away. The manager sincerely apologized and offered us anything off the menu for free. I was so hungry I just ordered the shrimp cocktail ($12/6 shrimp). It was meh. I was very disappointed that this happened and I would not recommend it. There was also some confusion about what sauce was GF. They no longer have the portobello quinoa that other reviewers rave about. I would not recommend this establishment in the era of COVID due to limited menu. Also to note, they do not have a separate fryer.

Not much to choose from. From what came out it looked just ok. (I could not taste it due to the Hair found in our meal).

Manager was very accommodating and apologetic.

Menu posted out front shows several GF options. Hostess and waitress were both knowledgeable and friendly. I got the portobello mushroom and quinoa - it was excellent. It came with a warmed roll in a sealed bag, with lemon butter. Service was quick. Great option for a good meal!

Notified waitress of GF, DF, V preferences and she was very nice. Portebello Quinoa no cheese was good. GF warm buns were brought out to start and a house salad. Mythos in the Island of Adv Park is also good.

Mani mahi sandwich was good- but a little bland. Lot of bun for small piece of fish- but it was GF and no issues there. Not a dedicated fryer so no french fries but there were other options.

Best food food experience at the park! GF is marked on the menu, lots of choices. We had a delicious fish sandwich, hands down one of the best fish sandwiches we have had (and we are from the Pacific Northwest!). The waitress went an extra mile and went to the bakery next door and grabbed us a couple gluten free brownies/oatmeal bar. These were also amazing!

Food was disgusting and cheap. Kids meals were the only good food. But they managed to feed my kiddo GF, and for that I am thankful.

Not super impressed. Server did not seem knowledgeable or confident. He just kept saying: I will write down your allergies and the chef will decide if what you order is OK for you. Well, that makes it kind of hard to order!! Anyway, I got the grilled mahi mahi sandwich on GF bun with fries. It was rather blah and flavorless tasting. Overpriced for what it is too (even for a theme park). However, I didn't get sick so we can give some bonus points for that.

I got a salad for lunch with a side of fries. Everything was prepared in a separate kitchen space, including the fries. They heated up gf rolls for us to eat, which was nice. The salad was nothing special at all, something that I could get from a deli. I wish I ordered something else.

I was really happy here. We were treated very well, the service was excellent, the food was good. I had a shrimp cocktail with big, yummy shrimp and a steak sandwich (cooked to my liking) on a gluten free bun. My children were very happy too. I got a drink that was made wrlk and not skimpy on the alcohol. It was perfect. I left my souvenir cup on the table by mistake and they helped us get it back the next day.

Eating here on vacation was the first time I've been able to enjoy a gluten free hamburger and fries. Delicious! The bun was much better than any gluten free bread I've had. Would visit again!!
