I asked if I could eat the tortilla chips from the dedicated fryer, which a previous review had mentioned, but there was no dedicated fryer. The waiter said the fryer had flour tortillas going in it as well. And then when I asked if they could let the kitchen know I had a gluten allergy, he was just confused. I got the carne asada dinner, and it tasted good, I just thought the experience would be better based on the previous reviews, so I'm also confused by it.

Family friendly tex mex. tamales are gf, corn chips are apparently in their own fryer, I've had no reaction in 3 trips weeks apart. Eaten early in their evening trade. Worth inquiring re that dedicated chip fryer when you go. Fajitas and chilaquiles tampiquenos are gf. There are multiple types of Margaritas and these are also available in small and large pitchers.
