Everything clearly marked. Staff changed gloves as soon as I informed them.
2 of us went and one also has a peanut allergy-they cleaned off a separate counter and took out new containers of ingredients to make our bowls

I went the the financial district location and it was great! I informed the staff I had a gluten allergy and they pulled all the fresh ingredients that hadn’t been used yet to a separate counter to prepare my bowl and even had gluten free soy sauce! Very clearly labeled.

Some staff is more educated than others, however, most times I am impressed on their practice. It is one of my favorite places to eat on Berklee campus because they have way too much pizza places that aren’t gluten free. Everything here is made from the reserves and with minimal cross-contamination. Sauces are listed. Make sure to NOT get the regular seasoning because that contains gluten. (I postmated and the staff called me to make me aware. I had gotten the topping before and got sick. I don’t dock the place for that time because they have gone above and beyond every time after). I feel very safe eating here, though it’s taken a few times of accidentally feeling uneasy if the staff has accidentally put the katsuko topping on. Again, depends on how knowledgeable the staff is.

Really yummy build your own poke bowl. Pretty simple sushi options. The sauces are marked as gluten free. However, when I asked about the miso soup they pointed to a list of ingredients but could not confirm that is was GF. I did not feel sick after eating there.
I told the staff I had an allergy to gluten and the man who was helping me washed his hands and changed his gloves before even touching my bowl. He was very knowledgeable and took all my ingredients and toppings from separate, new containers to avoid cross contamination. They also have a list for sauces that includes a ponzu! (Made with gf Tamari) which I do not see very often. Delicious, fresh food!
Yes
The staff is very helpful and nice but if they think what they’re offering is sushi they need to reconsider their education.
Fun array of naturally GF Poke and sushi - but stay tuned for a more in depth review of their celiac awareness and cross contact practices.
