PERMANENTLY CLOSED. As a celiac, this is one of the few places I regularly eat in Lexington (and my favorite). Smoked chicken is excellent. Nachos are great, sized for sharing. Loaded baked potatoes are filling. The owner has celiac, so they are quite knowledgeable and careful about cc. Have eaten here several times without any issues.

Lyle's BBQ Company was fantastic! It's the kind of place where you order at a counter, so it's pretty casual. The hardest part was picking out which two sides I could have because they all sounded so good! I had the brisket (points), fries (dedicated fryer!), and baked beans. The brisket sandwich was the best part; the meat was so tender and tasty and the gluten free bun was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant!

All hail Lyle’s BBQ! So thrilled to find such great BBQ while visiting my niece at UK. We went twice In 2 days it was that good. I had the brisket, Granny Smith slaw, green beans, and the loaded potato. The sweet tea was the perfect accompaniment to knock it down.

Great place to eat! Staff is knowledgeable and understands the importance of a gluten free diet. The cashier informed me that everything was gluten free except the mac and cheese, hush puppies and desserts.

Extremely knowledgeable about cross contamination. Even warned me that one of the bbq sauces could be an issue because it is made with bourbon that was originally made from rye but was distilled. I had no issues and it tasted great.

Love this place and since one of the owners has celiac they take it serious around there. The gluten free bun is perfection!

Delicious smoked meats and BBQ sauces. Separate GF menu with many different choices for entrees and sides. Restaurant also carried several local ciders when we were there. Small & local. Staff were knowledgeable. My family and I will definitely dine here again.

They have a GF menu and were careful and notified the kitchen staff that there was a GF order. Positives: the meat and sauces were great! Negatives were: they were out of 3 different side dishes. They served my sons food on a shared plate (he’s not GF) and the service was slow even though there was only one other table of people.

Absolutely delicious! Knowledgeable staff and happily answered questions. My new go to place when in Lexington.

My husband and I loved this place! He has a gluten allergy so it's hard to find good places to eat but this place is DELICIOUS! definitly a good place to stop and try out!

Delicious. Loved the pulled chicken baked potato and milkshake! Such a treat. Pregnant celiac visiting the city and no issues. We ended up here twice during our weekend. Do not hesitate to try this place. Yum yum yum.

One of my favorite places in Lex. I love their pulled pork on the loaded potato! The staff is always so kind, too!

The BBQ is fantastic and the bourbon BBQ sauce is top notch. The kitchen seems to understand what gluten free means. They have a dedicated fryer but the fries aren't really that good. I just stick with the meat.

Wonderful to have a place owners by another celiac. Most everything is safe. Even have a dedicated fryer. The pulled chicken is amazing! My son also loved the salt and pepper fries.

We stopped here on our way through to Tennessee. The bbq, slaw, and sauces were amazing. Because they have a dedicated fryer my non-GF husband and I could share the stuffed tater tots and homemade ranch. That sweet tea goes down waaaay to easy. :) Enjoyed ourselves!

Best BBQ around. Love cherrywood flavor! Almost everything on the menu can be gluten free. Owner truly understands celiac disease. Has a dedicated fryer. Great staff!

One of the owners has celiac so they know gf. They have a dedicated fryer at the Lexington location and you can get gf fries and gf homemade loaded Tate tots that are so good. I love it and eat there once a week.

Great BBQ! They have a GF menu with tons of options. No GF buns but we did not miss that because of all the other options. The loaded BBQ potato was very yummy. Also, the pig wings were fabulous! Everything is made fresh daily so sometimes they do run out of items.
