I didn't get sick! The food wasn't that great overall, and the communication was a bit lacking.
I was asked if I could have soy, and I said yes. It took another few minutes to realize she meant soy *sauce*, which was *not* gluten free!
I got a few different answers about the food from the waitress and the manager, and then even another from the chef that day.
I was told I couldn't have pulled pork because they make it with sauce and none of their sauces are GF. Turns out they can make it without sauce.
I was told no mashed potatoes, and I had just read another review that said mashed potatoes were safe 🤔
I was told the sausage was safe, but after I ordered the chef told the manager that they had marinated it in their beef stock that day, which is not GF.
Overall, I felt like I was taking a fairly large risk eating there, but I didn't get sick.
