If I could give Madrones 0 stars, I would. I ordered something that listed no gluten on their menu, and told the server I am a very sensitive celiac. My food came out with flour tortillas. I apologized to the food runner, but said I can’t eat that, and can they please remake it. He then proceeded to gaslight me by saying, “can’t you just pick it off?” I told him no, and that I would get sick. He said they’d remake the plate. A few minutes later, my food was brought back out to me without the flour tortillas. An hour later, I was SO SICK. I don’t think they remade my food. This place is not allergy safe, and their staff are not knowledgeable or kind. I do NOT recommend eating here if you have celiac.

I went last night, ravenous hungry. The server (actually behind the bar) was very sensitive to my need and if she didn’t know, she easily went into the back and asked or looked, because they have information readily available.
I had the goat cheese dip with corn chips instead of bread. The chips were great, although maybe not the best pairing the dip.
I also fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, naturally Gf and delicious.
My main course was the rare tuna with a gorgeous and delicious salad. They even had a GF “soy” sauce, likely tamari rather than aminos. Server didn’t know what it was, but knew it was GF.
24 hours later, never had any kind of reaction. I’d go back.

This place only offers a dry burger as a gfree option. They said even salads weren’t safe. The burger didn’t even have salt, pepper, ketchup, mayo, tomato...nada! Not only that poor quality meet for top dollar price. Do yourself a favor if you’re celiac, don’t go here!
No
I wouldn’t consider this place celiac friendly. It’s a nice restaurant but I’ve been there twice and both times the waiter/waitress did not understand what gluten is. My last visit the waiter insisted I could not have butter or sour cream. I tried to explain that gluten is in wheat not dairy but he seemed frustrated with me.
No
This restaurant is not gluten free. They do not have a gluten free menu, dedicated friers and the salad menu is short on choices. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Pricey for what is offered.
No
