The corn tortillas are fresh, handmade and incredible.

After reading reviews, I stopped by to ask about fryers and making anything gluten free and separate area for allergies and etc. They use same fryer for everything and no area for allergies. This is in Champaign, IL in November and only delivery & take out. Sad!

Very delicious authentic Mexican food. The chips are fried in a dedicated gf fryer (other fried items on the menu are pan fried, I asked about this specifically). Almost everything including quesadillas are made with corn tortillas. One of our favorite places.

Maize is my go to for amazing Mexican food! 95% of their menu is gluten free, as they offer flour tortillas but they are prepared in a separate area of the kitchen, they use corn tortillas for nearly everything. Their menu has the perfect mix of traditional and Americanized Mexican food. I have never gotten sick here and I always leave satisfied.

So delish!!! Loved it! I had no issues whatsoever and I'm a very sensitive to gluten. Had beef, chicken, and grilled fish Tacos with chips and salsa.

Use corn tortillas for everything but burritos, quesadillas, & tortas. Delicious!

I LOVE this place. Most of the menu is gluten free (except for the burritos) and everything I've had there is fantastic. The fryer is even gluten free. Yum!

A helpful staff member who was GF gave me the lay of the land - almost everything is GF except for the things made with flour tortillas. I didn't go into handling processes. I ate lunch here for $6 for a dish and drink. Very tasty combination of a thicker corn tortilla with chorizo, lettuce & cheese, . It's a small place with a bustling lunch business, but worth a stop.
