AMAZING! Food was all delicious and staff were all super great with making sure everything I got was 100% safe. plus, one of the only places they’ve had GF bread for the table! They can make (almost) the entire menu GF which is amazing!

Had another great experience here. Mama’s going to make me a gf tiramisu dessert next time I’m in town. 👏 👏 👏 Fantastic!!! They had no reservation for us but were so kind to take my number in case of a cancellation. They came through for us. WOW WOW WOW the chicken parmesan and shrimp parmesan were AMAZING. The cheese cake is made there by someone with celiac and is to DIE FOR. Call well in advance but hit this place up when you are in the area.

This is the BEST Italian place ever for celiacs!!!! The owner’s mother is celiac and can make almost everything gluten free. They have a separate fryer & gluten free breadcrumbs for all the breaded dishes. I had the fried veal and it was amazing! I will definitely be back!!

I know this place has amazing reviews, but be aware that they don't have a dedicated fryer even though the owner says the fried items are GF. The fried items may be GF but not safe for those with Celiac. I won't return.

This was the best food I have ever eaten. Called to place a to go order, was answered by the owner. He was very kind, and very knowledgeable of celiac. He told me about the dishes I was considering, how they were made, all about his mom’s recipes. Amazing experience, absolutely recommend to anyone looking for some genuinely delicious food. Had the bow tie broccoli sauce with chicken, and garlic oil penne primavera with gluten free noodles, as well as a salad and the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had.

Wonderful menu! Chef is familiar with gf. Actually referred here by a fellow Celiac. Ate 2 Xs in a month. Delicious!! Note: it's quite popular - reservations suggested. Even had gf eggplant parm. Also chicken Marsala. Risotto fantastic! Hubs enjoyed his food as well. Nice spot in Surfside Beach - cute little area of shops.

The food was incredible the owner took the orders himself. The Calamari appetizer was cooked perfectly very tender and the veal parmigiana was delicious I had enough for two meals. They are very careful about cross contamination and can do most anything on the menu gluten free. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

You must have a reservation now! We had reservations and still had to wait 30 minutes. Food is amazing with huge portions. I get three meals out of the chicken park or the veal special (which I highly recommend!). Lots of gf options. If you tell them you want gf eggplant park when you make your reservation, they will make it for you but it must be prepped ahead of time. Great place (but small).

We had a wonderful early Sunday afternoon lunch at Malibu. GF is not called out on the menu, but the owner said he could make almost anything on the menu GF. Someone in his family is “gluten intolerant,” and he really understands what is safe and what isn’t. They offer GF bread and can use GF breadcrumbs. My husband enjoyed “Sunday Sauce” which is made and cooked for 6 hours by the owner’s mother. The flavors were excellent and the service superb! Be sure to make a reservation!

This was July 2020 that I ate here when they were only doing takeout during the pandemic. It was the most AMAZING gf Italian food I’ve EVER had. The owner was super nice as well. I had the chicken Parmesan and I would have never known it was gf. The flavor was incredible. Better than any gluten variation I’ve ever had. They also had gf cheesecake that was delicious. I did not have any gluten reactions. We are going again tomorrow so I’ll leave another review.

After seeing some great reviews, we arrived at Malibu of Surfside only to be snapped at by someone in line who advised it’s reservation only. So I stepped away and called the restaurant. The fellow who answered said, “we are reservation only.” Being patient (we were in no hurry), I politely asked, “when is the next availability?”. He hung up on me. Maybe it was my fault for being from 14 states away and not knowing their policy, but they could have been decent about it. I was willing to come back the next day or days. Perhaps they stay booked for months? With that attitude, I in no way would want them preparing a gluten free meal for my family.

Our family had a wonderful experience. My daughter and I are both gluten free. She was able to try foods that she never had and I enjoyed foods that it’s been a long time since I was able to enjoy. What an amazing experience start to finish! Such a relaxing genuine Italian family restaurant they make you feel like family from beginning to end. Owner of the restaurant waited on us he was extremely knowledgeable about the meal. The service was impeccable every employee was great. So impressed with the food! They even had gluten free bread (hands down the best gluten free bread I’ve ever tried didn’t break apart and was so tasty) and eggplant marinara which I had. It was definitely the best dish I’ve had since having to remove gluten from my diet!!

This was the best meal at a restaurant I've had since being diagnosed with Celiac in 2007. The eggplant parmasean and sauce were excellent.

The owners of this restaurant mom is celiac. I walked in told them what I needed and they’re freshly made me chicken Parmesan. The servings are huge and it was very yummy. I ate it for two days no reaction. Highly recommended
