This has been our go-to place for take out pizza in the Hanover area. They use a separate pan for GF pizza, use a separate pizza cutter, etc. My daughter with celiac disease loves the pizza and has not gotten sick after eating there several times.

First time I went to get gf pizza they put fried chicken on it. When my husband brought the pizza back in the lady at the front seemed confused as to why it mattered that it was fried chicken because the pizza itself was gluten free..he asked the lady how they could sell it as a gluten free pizza if there was non gluten free toppings on it. (We asked for grilled chicken when we ordered it) then it clicked to her. They remade it with grilled chicken. The second time I came in same thing basically happened where it was fried chicken and then I had to wait another 45 minutes for them to remake it with grilled chicken. The chefs (kid) outback did not seem to take the necessary measures or flat out care at all to make sure there was minimal/no cross contamination and at that point. I specifically told them it was a gluten allergy and it still didn’t seem to matter to them that much. I cancelled my order and havnt been back since.

In my short journey with Celiac so far, pizza has been on the top of my list to find a safe option for, as it’s my favorite food. I ordered a GF cheese pizza and was more than pleased. So far it’s been the only safe option I have found that also tasted genuine. I loved Mamma Mia’s pizza pre-Celiac and am thrilled I can continue to eat there. I called and spoke with an employee earlier in the day about their preparation for their GF pizza and they reported they not only prep and make the pizza in a separate place with gloves and separate utensils, but they also use a separate oven for cooking. I am happy to say I had no reaction after finishing my dinner and believe they truly handled my food as carefully as they told me they would. So thankful!!

Great location, with a "gluten sensitive" menu. We cannot with great confidence recommend this restaurant with celiac people (except for the pizza, perhaps). We visited this restaurant after reading on their website about a dedicated GF kitchen space, etc. However, during our visit, our wait staff was very unknowledgeable about the gluten free options or about how these items were prepared in the kitchen. Our saving grace was another bartender/wait staff that came over, brought our questions down to the chef in the kitchen so that we could order with confidence. We learned that all the fried items may be prepared in the same deep fryer as everything else.

The GF pizza was meh but fine for our daughter. For the non-gf food, it was meh as well.

I love the chicken broccoli pasta. I won’t try the pizza or other pasta because the manager told me the red sauce isn’t completely gluten free and that some people have reactions...

Really awesome gf pasta dishes and pizza! * would like say it’s potentially unsafe for celiac. Though I haven’t had any major reactions, I did get there early one time and watched them take my GF pizza out of the oven and cut it up in the same spot that they make the regular pizzas. Originally I was told it was made, baked and cut in a flour free spot (other side of the kitchen) but that’s not what I saw.

It was ok. They did not have a GF menu but the waitress was helpful. I did request they get the menu from the Plymouth location as they have a great selection of GF options. My choices were limited as they had to go to the kitchen each time I inquired about a dish. I gave up and just ordered what I knew could be GF. The food was good. I will stick to the Plymouth location until they get a GF menu.
