The pizzas here are made from scratch and were delicious, but if you have celiacs like myself then I would recommend not eating here. I did get sick after eating the pizza we ordered which is a bummer, because they are from scratch and it was nice to have th option of getting a medium pizza.

Overpriced and not very tasty. All 3 of us were disappointed in our pizza.

My daughter and I ate at Mangieri's in Lakeway Tuesday night and within 30 minutes of eating her "gluten free pizza" and "gluten free polenta balls", she was projectile vomiting for the next four hours. We were assured numerous times that her food was gluten free while at the restaurant, even though our check said "whole wheat pizza". We were told the waiter entered it incorrectly but immediately told the chef who also verified that he made a gluten free pizza. I sent an email to the restaurant that night and the owner called me the following evening, again assuring me that the pizza and polenta balls were positively gluten free. I explained to her that my daughter hadn't eaten since 11am that day and after eating dinner at Mangieri's at 7pm, she almost immediately got a terrible headache followed by four hours of horrible vomiting. I cannot suggest strongly enough that you avoid this restaurant's "gluten free" menu.

Staff is well trained and know about celiac disease. Gluten free pizza crust is tasty. One of my go to places when I'm out south.
