My daughter and I both have Celiac disease. Unfortunately, our daughter was throwing up after her meal which indicates she has eaten gluten. She asked for GF pasta and when it came to the table she thought it looked like regular noodles. She asked the waitress and she reassured her they were GF! Well our daughter was right and she paid for it later. She will never eat there again or eat something she isn’t sure about. I notified the restaurant and spoke with a manager. He apologized and offered a gift card but I declined.

Was hesitant to eat here after seeing no reviews since 2023 and offensive comments by the manager at the time. I was interested in a cocktail with my meal. I asked if a certain one was prepared with a mix that may have gluten and she initially replied she was certain it was gluten free but I asked her to please check and it wasn’t! So, at least she checked and admitted she was wrong. They do have a separate gluten free menu which actually warns you they do not have separate fryers. My sister (celiac) and I had delicious tropical chicken salad ( minus the walnuts) over pineapple which was very good. I didn’t get sick so seems like they were careful about cross contamination.

Ugh. My daughter was cross contaminated. There were regular pasta noodles in her GF Lobster Mac and Cheese. The waitress did flag her as GF Allergy on the order and showed us the ticket. The manager came over and took her meal to verify with the chef that regular noodles were mixed in with in her dish. The manager comped her meal and discounted our bill additionally. Everyone was very apologetic. They don’t seem to understand GF as the manager asked if he could call an ambulance. Yes, my daughter was sick after. Her stomach started to cramp during the meal which is what initially caused her to inspect her dish more closely. She is recovering day 2 of vacation. So tough eating out. I can say the restaurant was slammed for spring break. They seemed short staffed in the kitchen, and there were other situations going on with customers complaining about meals taking too long. Not good. Safe in the past for us, but we won’t be going back.

I had a horrible experience here. I let them know multiple times that I was gluten free but they brought out a regular bun. Luckily I noticed after one bite. The waitress apologized but the manager asked if I wanted an ambulance. They do not understand. I would highly not recommend for any celiac.

We have been going to mangos for years- never an issue….. until last night. We ordered take out and my son with celiac was up all night, sick within two hours of eating it. We were very clear with the bartender that took our to go order. Very disappointed.

I’ve eaten here twice now and love coming here! There is a separate GF menu, and the servers that allergy’s and Celiac disease seriously. The GF menu is extensive and there is even real desserts on the GF menu (not just ice cream!). Both times I ate here I did NOT get sick!

I asked and confirmed when my meal was delivered for a gluten free bun and the server said yes. I ate half my meal when the manager comes out and tells me it’s not gluten free. Comped my meal and asked if I wanted a Benadryl. Smh. Food was delicious but beware.

Food was delicious, multiple items on gluten free menu. We got the bacon wrapped shrimp jalapeño starter and they were amazing! The fish sandwich came on a gluten free bun and they allowed me to sub fresh fruit for the fries. It's a beautiful setting on the waterfront.

Loved this place! Right on the waterfront! I am super sensitive and had the blackened fish sandwich with mango coleslaw! Had no issues with this dinner! Would have loved to finish my meal with a gluten-free dessert but sadly they do not have any. This would be something great for this restaurant to add to the gluten-free menu!

I went once and got a chicken sandwich and I was fine. I went for breakfast ordered gf omelet, I got sick within an hr. Thought I would give them another chance. I went with the gf chicken sandwich again since I didn’t have a problem the first time, I explained clean utensils etc. I got sick again! Not going back.

I ate here because of the reviews on this app. I think the food was delish but I was exposed to gluten. Within a half hour I was gassy and on the toilet. I am intolerant and this is what happens when I am exposed. Just be cautious when eating here.
We called and Informed the manager and he was wonderful. He got all the info of when and what we ate and waitress name(which I do not think was her fault) and even asked if I would need medical(if so it would be covered wow). I hope this will be a opportunity for them to learn and get better and not have mistakes like this, esp with someone even more severe than me!

Excellent! Our waitress made sure to mark my meal as celiac (not just gf)! I had the grilled chicken sandwich on gf bun and delicious coconut rice. They do have a shared fryer so French fries are not gluten free. Would definitely go back!

I’m celiac and was happy to see they had a separate GF menu, though choices were limited and somewhat puzzling (why, for instance, is the quinoa bowl not on the GF menu)? Restaurant was also out of crab and lobster, though we arrived at 1 pm. But the food was tasty and service good. And they have GF bread and buns.

We were about 30 minutes away and used the Yelp feature for "No Wait". We arrived in about 20 minutes and although the outdoor seating was pretty packed two tables had just opened up and we were immediately seated.
We found them via the Find Me GF (Gluten Free) app and were very happy that they had a gluten-free menu. In addition to the GF Menu, our waitress, Jimena F, was very knowledgeable about what our options were and was very friendly.
Our food was delicious!
While we didn’t originally plan on eating at Mango’s, it will be on our list for future visits to Marco Island.

I got the blackened white fish sandwich and it was huge. The fish wasn’t as flavorful as I would have liked however it was a very good meal. The ceaser salad was amazing
Our server was very friendly! He came out and discussed the meal with us and made sure I knew what was gluten free. Plus the view from where we were sitting was beautiful, right by the marina with all the boats docked. It was a very relaxing dinner.

We ordered off the sushi menu. Staff was knowledgeable about what ingredients were not gluten free and helped me decide what sushi rolls to get. They had a gluten free soy sauce to go with it. Yummy sushi and our kids has burgers with GF buns! Fries were gluten free but not in a dedicated fryer.

So yum!! Great menu!! GF egg sandwich GF pancakes!!!
The staff was very knowledgeable and they have a menu with all of the gluten free options. The waiter walked me through everything and even double checked on the daiquiri ingredients to ensure I would be safe drinking it. My meal was delicious and I did not have any reaction.

Fantastic service and attention to Celiac needs! Have been here for burgers, pancakes, seafood, etc!!!! Even the bar servers brought the Pina Colada mix so we could scan it. Servers totally knowledgeable (mark everything as “gluten allergy” (we know it’s not an allergy, but it is a universal warning that is easily understood by many) and manager came over almost every time to ensure safety and comfort. We came so often we didn’t need to ask for the manager after a while!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Mangos — for the Gluten-loving and Gluten-free!

Had chicken salad on a half pineapple on bed of salad with strawberries. Delicious! No reaction! The waitress was helpful and knowledgeable. They offer quite a few gf options. Going back for breakfast next.
A solid few options for celiacs - waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. I felt safe and had no bad reactions. I ordered the Caesar salad with the catch of the day.

I have a really bad gluten intolerance. The Gluten Free menu was awesome. The staff was well versed. I had ordered a Cali roll and the manger came and told me it had gluten in it and to change my order. I ended up with a salmon Avocado roll with GF soy sauce! And my salad I ordered was amazing off the GF menu. Awesome dinner and really happy with my dinner tonight! I thanked the staff for being so accommodating! I would def recommend this restaurant a lot of GF options on the menu too! 👏

I would highly recommend this place. We got the GF pancakes and crepes and they were amazing! Both were very light and fluffy but still filling unlike a lot of GF pancakes that tend to be very dense or doughy. The eggs, bacon, coffee and everything else were great as well. We will definitely be coming back.
Ordered the burger with GF bun...terribly over cooked. I had a double side of fruit and although it was fresh, the green leaves were not taken off the strawberries. Poor attention to detail. Staff nice & there is a separate GF menu.
Really good blue burger. No deticated fryer. Nice waiters

Good array of g free choices. They made my husbands drink wrong and mixed up my order. It was a busy Saturday night though.
Excellent service, gluten free menu and bread/buns. The food was delicious and the outside seating offered a nice water view

This is a great place off the beaten path. It is always nice to be given a separate GF menu. There were a number of options outside of just salad. I had the avocado burger and fresh fruit. The menu does caution you that the fries are not fried in a separate fryer. You can always sub fries for fruit/veggies. I'll be back for sure!
