I gave one star because you can’t give less! This is more a warning than a review. I called ahead and then asked again at the restaurant about gluten-free and cross-contamination. All staff answered in a confident manner that they could accommodate my requests, since most of their food was by its nature gluten-free. Cross-contamination proved to be another issue. With the server’s advice, I ordered the mixed grill, with just the chicken and steak and without the kofia, which, I was advised, contains bread. Our friends ordered the standard mixed grill. My guess is they were prepared together and later the kofia was separated. I started suspecting I was getting sick when the dessert arrived, a stack of Baklawa pastry surrounded by fruit. Clearly the staff is only partially informed, and this is not a safe place to eat.
