Popped in for a late lunch because of this app. The server was very confident that they knew all about being gluten free and made sure to let me know they even have gluten free deserts. Had the carbonara with chicken and it was amazing. Huge portions, too.

Gluten free pizza, pasta, flatbreads, deserts, and everything is clearly marked! Very great experience felt very safe eating here! Waiter was nice and patient when asking questions regarding the food! Double checked everything for me too! I got the gluten free pasta with parmesan butter sauce and tuscan vegetables which was great! Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Very good food, many GF choices. They state they are GF “friendly”, not guaranteed, but they seem very knowledgeable about GF. GF pasta. Even a GF cheesecake! And some Gf F gelatos. I had the Alfredo w/ chicken ( lg portion) & the cheesecake. Yum

Best gluten free in South Haven. So many options. My kids love the gluten free cheese bread and the gluten free pickle pizza. I usually get the gluten free mezzaluna. They even have gluten free cheese cake!

The waitress was very knowledgeable about what was gluten free on the menu. They have GF beside the menu items that are GF. I got a pizza that was pretty middle of the road. It was nothing special but it did the job and I wasn't sick.

We read great reviews and Maria’s did not disappoint! We ordered carry out and all of our food was delicious! We had salads, cheese bread, two GF pizzas, sides of marinara and Alfredo sauce, and chocolate cheesecake. All GF and yummy! Our celiac daughter did not have any stomachaches after eating. Will definitely be back!

Ordered GF bruschetta maria and a house salad. The bruschetta tested positive for gluten. Lines on the back of the nima suggested cross contact. I did not eat the bruschetta. My gluten eating family liked their food.

I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and cheese bread. The cheese bread was PHENOMENAL. The pasta, however, was a bit bland. Not bad, just not great either. The waitress was also fantastic but the rest of the staff left a lot to be desired.

So disappointed. We ordered take out and the waitress who brought me the food said that the breadsticks were in the top box and I questioned her why there were breadsticks included in my order and she said that the entrees came with breadsticks. I then said even though the meals are gluten free and she said yes, all of the restaurants breadsticks are gluten free. I questioned her again and she assured me that all of the breadsticks were Gf. I should not have believed her. I called when we got home and were eating bc they tasted too good to be gf. I was told over the phone that they do not gf breadsticks.

This place was fantastic! I got the cheese bread starter because I haven’t been able to have cheese bread in forever. The waitress warned me that I wouldn’t think it would be gluten free, and she was right! It was on their gluten free pizza dough, and it was the softest pizza dough I’ve ever had. My dad tried it and said he couldn’t taste a difference between this and regular gluten-y pizza dough. I also got their gluten free cheese ravioli for dinner—highly recommend. It was baked gf cheese ravioli with marinara and mozzarella. My sister also has an allergy (dairy) and the waitress knew exactly what was in the food. It was so easy to eat there with allergies. Also (as a side note for COVID), we ate outside and the tables are super spread out so you’re really far away from the people next to you.

The smell of garlic was wafting through the air outside...it definitely drew us in. So many GF choices. I had the fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp. Server was knowledgeable and portions were huge! Oh, they had an amazing GF chocolate cheesecake option too!

Excellent options! Very knowledgeable. Had fresh fish and spaghetti noodles, they were out fo all of their other GF options for noodles. Only issue is they served my meal with a breadstick on the side. She took my plate back and had it remade, but it didn’t come out until everyone else had finished their meal. They did not charge us for my meal.

Meal was good, were seated by the washroom which was pretty nasty while trying to enjoy your food. i however did not have a reaction to my food so thats a huge plus.

Great little corner for Italian and American food. Love the atmosphere and great service. The gluten sensitive option are great for celiac people. Very aware people and they very knowledgeable in the matter of GF. So ask if you have doubts. Ate here twice no issues.

Sarah was EXTREMELY helpful! I explained that I have Celiac disease, and appreciate any precautions to prevent cross-contamination would be greatly appreciated. Great place to eat. I've eaten here twice now in the last two years when I've visited South Haven. Although there is a shared kitchen space, the staff are really good about making sure they do whatever they can to prevent cross contamination. All you have to do is explain that you have to be super careful and if you get pizza, just ask that all utensils and the space is cleaned off before they prepare and cook your pizza. They are great about it.

Their gluten free pizza was so delicious! It tasted exactly like (really good) normal pizza, and even though on the menu it says they don't have a separate gf kitchen, when I explained to them I had celiac and had to be extra careful, they were sure to take extra precautions and cleaned all the surfaces they used to make my pizza. Highly recommend Maria's!

Excellent restaurant. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and made some excellent recommendations. I had a gluten-free pasta dish with italien sausage. My son, had a gluten-free pizza. The pizza was so-so. The crust was soggy. I think this could be solved if they would put holes underneath the pizza pan while it's being baked.

They offer many gluten-free options. I would highly recommend it.
