I thought this would be a safe place as they have gluten free sauce and cook in the kitchen for gluten free food. Unfortunately I got glutened and am now extremely ill.

Workers cook Gf items separately in the back—all other food is cooked in front of everyone! It was still very delicious and I got the “show” of the Japanese steakhouse because of my family who isn’t gf! Recommend

I waited to comment to be sure. We were looking for Asian take-out during the pandemic. Saw good reviews here, so took a chance for our Celiac daughter. I specified everything had to be gluten free. She ordered the teriyaki chicken dinner including salad and soup. She ate everything and did NOT get sick! So happy to find a local place that can do gluten-free Asian for her. I’m sure we will be back.

They made it easy! Full experience all gluten free! My entire table was gluten free as we have a big family. It was fantastic! Some of the best food I have ever had and it was so much fun! They cooked everything in front of us. We will certainly come back! Can’t wait!

Completely safe for celiacs! My first dine in experience was not pleasant only because of the manager’s attitude who said that we were “making her uncomfortable” by asking a lot of questions so that I know it’s totally safe for me to consume their food. I didn’t appreciate that at all. I should be able to ask as many questions as I want until I feel comfortable. If the food wasn’t so amazing and safe, I wouldn’t have come back. But we have gotten take out and dined in at least 15 more times and we love it. I haven’t gotten sick once and they use gf soy sauce etc. One of our new go-to’s!

Amazing value and amazing food. If we lived local, I would probably be here once a week. Very friendly and accommodating.

I'll echo previous comments... food was excellent with plenty of options (including soy sauce and a yumyum sauce). Staff was attentive and knowledgeable about ingredients and cross-contamination. They cooked the equivalent of one of the hibachi entrees on a separate surface in their kitchen for me.

As a Celiac, I've eaten here several times with zero problems! The wait staff and chefs are extremely knowledgeable and have even found gluten ingredients in things I've ordered and missed, and made sure to keep it out. Fantastic food and great prices. I highly recommend!

Massaki can make almost all of their menu gluten free. They have gluten free Yum Yum sauce and gluten free soy sauce. They also cook their food on a dedicated grill for people who have allergies. The chef was not 100% sure if the soup base was gluten free and recommended I not eat it. Also, if you get the sushi rolls, do not get any with crab because they use imitation crab which has wheat in it they said. They were very understanding and helpful from the second I walked in the door. They never once acted as though it was a bother to make it gluten free and they stopped by and asked if it was ok. So happy to find that they were gluten free. Missed this place. Used to go often before I found out I had celiac disease.
