This place is awesome! The fried chicken and collard greens are so good!
Lots of GF options. Fried chicken is fantastic. Pricey but worth it.
The owner has Celiac, so they are well versed in what can be done GF safely. Have the GF pickle chips!!

We stopped here based on good reviews but the entire experience was terrible, start to finish. They said the fried chicken would take 30 minutes but it took an hour. We ordered Caesar salad while we waited and it never arrived. Then there was some sort of contamination after waiting an hour for our food and we saw the chef yelling at our server that the menu says ‘gluten-friendly’, not ‘gluten-free’... We were told the fries were not gluten free on the tender basket and that we would get a salad instead, but guess what was brought out, with the tenders sitting right on top...fries! Absolutely terrible experience. After waiting an hour! We were in at 2pm and there were very few tables, almost no one else in the entire restaurant- stay away if you’re celiac. We should have known when we saw ‘gluten friendly’ instead of ‘gluten free’ on the menu but took a risk based on positive reviews. Wrong choice.

Love this place. They are very knowledgeable and the food is outstanding. No issues or reactions. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in town.
They have a dedicated fryer for gluten free

Great gluten free fried chicken!
Very accommodating with my gluten, garlic and onion allergies without compromising the taste and quality of the food. Left very satisfied and not sick!

Have been glutened the past 4 times I’ve eaten here. Chef comes out each time and talks about how they made sure it was gluten free & safe, unfortunately I still get sick.
I’ve eaten at MWD’s around the state regularly, and it seems they commonly have new kitchen staff regardless of location. More than once I’ve seen a newbie drop normal chicken in the “gluten free” fryer and the staff had to spend an hour cleaning the machine & reheating oil.
As much as the gesture is appreciated, you can’t truly clean a deep fryer in that short an amount of time. The amount of times I’ve been CC’d here shows.

Delicious and safe. Ordered through a meal delivery service and everything was just as I ordered.

I was so excited to eat here after reading all the wonderful reviews! I ordered the GF fried chicken and got SO sick! 😠I even told the server I had Celiacs and he said I should be fine. I’m usually ok eating at restaurants as long as they try to be careful with cross contamination. My family and I are here on vacation just for the weekend so I’m super disappointed!
Great gluten free fried chicken. It is served on mashed potatoes topped with collard greens. So delicious! They have a separate fryer for the gluten free fried chicken.
