Tried to get a pizza here but it was closed. And I don’t mean like after hours closed....it looked like it was closed for the season. So I’m thinking October is not the month to try this place if you are down here during off-season months. 😓

Our son has celiac and is VERY sensitive... this place was great!! Owner should us how he preps the pizza separately, lines the oven with foil (cooks pizza on a foil covered sheet too) and has separate cutters for GF pies... great place!!

Maximus pizza is gone. It’s now village pizza. Excellent owners and tried very hard to accommodate.

Great GF experience! Owner very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable from his own Gluten sensitivities. Offer GF pizzas oven baked in a separate foil pan and sandwiches served on GF bread.

Had a great experience! The owner was knowledgeable from his own gluten sensitivities and was super nice. Pizza was tasty and not over cooked.

Horrible, don't waste your money. If they hadn't "forgotten" to give us receipt I would have demanded my money back. Pizza was freezer burnt and had to be thrown out.

Very good pizza, but expensive. The owner seemed knowledgeable, but when I asked about the 'gluten free' falafel, which they were advertising outside their restaurant, I learned that it was made in a shared fryer. My son with celiac disease enjoyed his pizza & did not get sick.

Gluten free crust is very hard. All the toppings slide right off & it is hard to bite it. Hours on answering machine are wrong. Some days they may be there at lunch & other days they may not..... When asked why they were not there the day before, guy answering the phone was very rude.

Super knowledgable staff. GF pizza was awesome. Also redbridge beer, GF pasta and chocolate cake (!) and when the gentleman behind the counter found out I was celiac, he even fired up a fresh pot of oil so I could have GF French fries!! I agree with another reviewer: what a relief on vacation to find such a GF-friendly spot. Also, the salad I had was very tasty with homemade dressing.

I have tried to go here two years in a row but they never bother to change their answering machine message when they've changed their hours. I'm done trying-customer obviously isn't important here.

I ordered a gluten free cheese pizza at Maxximmuss Pizza & it was delicious! Great tasty sauce, quality cheese and cooked golden brown. Sooo much better than other GF pizza I've had. Plus, if you ask they will cook it a tad longer. Very knowledgeable about GF food as well-pizza was cooked on its own foil pan. Six generous slices for $12.99!
