So. I have so many mixed emotions about this place. Up front I will say I did not get sick. But I would have if I didn’t ask a million questions.

First, they have a heated tent. During The Covid this is a nice offering. It felt very safe and we sat right next to the fresh air recirculation and tables spaced very far apart.

BUT. I had asked the day before if the chips were GF. Was told no. So I brought my own so i could still have the guac. Looked at the menu and it’s says tons of items are GF. Including the nachos. Well how can that be? Quiz the poor server (who clearly didn’t write the menu) and he goes back to kitchen for the report they are NOT gluten free. I then tell him i have very low confidence that anything marked on the menu is actually GF. I ask to talk to the chef, told it was too busy.

We didn’t have a lot of options at this point on Valentine’s Day and a Sunday night. I can usually find something at Mexican places to eat and did safely have the seafood platter (special) and the carnitas entree.

So if you eat here, make sure you ask 100 questions about your order. And be sure to tell them their menu needs updating ASAP. I did!
