There is very little that is gluten-free friendly on this menu. About the only safe place you can get some of the baked potatos or a salad with no croutons.
Good thing, my son likes baked potatoes

They don't even offer a gluten free menu in our area, so I'm not sure why McAlister's made the list of recommended places. I went into two McAlister's locations near Bartlett and Wolfchase, and neither one had a gluten free menu. Unfortuantely, online this was never specified, so hopefully they will update their website. The only one in the entire city with a gluten free option is near Poplar Plaza, from what I understand. I was very disappointed that the website was so misleading about locations that offer a gluten free menu. I hope they decide to expand their options to more locations soon.
No
Gluten free bread is not offered at this location. however they do have salads and potatoes that might suffice.

I had a gluten free sandwich and the bread was good. It was soft and didn’t fall apart. There also salads and baked potatoes that are gluten free. The menu has an icon to show which items are gluten free. None of the soups or desserts are gluten free, sadly.

Absolutely amazing. They asked if it were an allergy or preference and when I told them I had celiacs they immediately told the kitchen. These sandwiches are amazing. The bread is so good. Highly recommended.
