Excellent knowledge of celiac/gluten allergies. Immediately talked about a glove change and the meal came out marked. The meats are naturally gluten free and they are so cautious about cross contamination. I had the ribs, mashed potatoes and jalapeño slaw. I am a very sensitive celiac and had no issue. Highly recommend!

Was told that the only thing I was safe with was meat. No chicken or wings, they don't have a separate fryer for fries so those are out, and that I wouldn't be safe with the sides because "they're all right next to eachother and the cooks are messy so .." and that the sauces at the table weren't safe either because of cross contamination. I'm so nervous to even try the plain brisket.. I was excited because the other reviews on here are good but I'm probably not eating.

I’ve eaten here a number of times and always had a great experience! Most meat and sides are gluten free, and you can also ask them to bring out a smaller container of sauce from the back for you if you would not like to use the ones at the table! Super tasty!

Waitress was very helpful and gave me an updated version of their allergy list. I only wish the sauces at the table were labeled a little better!

They don’t have a gluten-free menu, but all of their meat is gluten-free and several of their sides. They are fryer is not a dedicated fryer so none of the fried goods are safe. However, things like coleslaw, potato salad, creamed, corn, etc. are OK. Their cornbread is not gluten-free. The meat was really good, my favorite was the fatty brisket!

Great food great options! Most if the food is gluten free since its meat, I just always go for the meat players no cornbread. I love the atmosphere too!

Meat has an allergy sheet. It’s not a great system, but it can help you navigate the menu and find what works for you. Aside from the mental hurdles, the food is always great and the service is decent. It can be a little hard to hear if it’s busy due to the acoustics, but it’s a decent lunch stop.
