Mellow Mushroom

I really enjoyed our time at the Mellow Mushroom! I asked if they had any gluten free dipping items for the spinach artichoke dip and the cook said he could give us celery, carrots, or breadsticks made from the GF dough. I had brought my own chips because I wasn’t sure what they were going to be able to do and they said that was fine as well! I wish I had gone with the breadsticks though because this gluten free pizza was the best I’ve had yet! While I was eating my pizza, nothing felt foreign or out of place (like some GF doughs taste/have a strange texture). At the end, the crust was perfect for dipping in the dip and I would’ve eaten plain (the first time I’ve experienced that with GF pizza). Since I haven’t been tested to be fully celiac, I ordered one of the random pizzas off the menu, but they do have four that are cooked with a “certified gluten free process.” I can’t speak to that but I felt just fine all day afterwards! I think we’ll probably be back!!

Staff are knowledgeable about celiac and have a separate prep area for gluten free food. I've never felt safer eating out.

First off we've eaten at many mellow mushrooms and we love them, but this location sucks, sucks is an understatement. I would in no way judge other locations against the one in Carmel, IN and I will definitely eat at another one, just not this location. Maybe it was the night we went on or maybe it was being a family of 5, I'm unsure. Order was wrong gave red sauce instead of olive oil on 2 of the special order pizzas we ordered. NO soap in the bathroom and a worker knew said yeah we don't get soap until tomorrow as the worker was leaving the bathroom 🤢

I absolutely love their GF pizza and appreciate their mission to not cross contaminate. I wish the pizza was a little less expensive; we spent $19 on a 10", but it was delicious!

I ordered the 12inch gluten free pizza without cheese, caramelized onions, black olives and mushrooms. The pizza was ok and not my favorite dough made from sorghum, amaranth, teff and tapioca flour blend plus xanthum gum as it was a bit chewy. The Angry Orchard cider was good and the service was good too.

Can order online and they have 4 different certified GF pizza options. I always call when getting take out to be safe! I got their hoyse special pizza with GF crust, it was delicious.

Non GF family member happy with the pretzel bited & beer cheese.

Terrific menu, and they can make any pizza GF. Food was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and took great care of us. Indoor and outdoor seating. We would come back here!

Went here with my GF kiddo. The staff was very friendly. Let the server know about the celiac. Told us which of the pizzas were GF. Kiddo decided on plain cheese. We were told they changed gloves, separate oven, etc., for gf. Good experience!
