Ate dinner there last night. Had a cheddar bacon burger on a gf bun with a side of coleslaw. Was delicious and inexpensive.

We travel in a 45’ RV and got into town too late for dinner, so we were seriously hungry when we sat down at the diner for lunch the next day.
I had an American burger with American cheese and “pickle slaw” which is chopped lettuce, chopped pickles and mayo. They had both bread and buns. I always get the bread as I never like the buns.
The waitress was sweet and accommodating and brought me more pickle slaw when I requested it. (I am a huge fan of pickles lol). My burger was great and the side of Cole slaw was really good too.
He got fried chicken and waffles which he said were good but he regretting not getting the eggs Benedict when he saw it on someone else’s plate because it looked amazing.
They had plenty of GF choices and a separate GF menu.
Great little diner!

Wonderful diner, GF knowledgeable, with gluten free menu and choices.
Went on a whim and returned three times that week. Two sided gluten free menu with plentiful breakfast and lunch/dinner options. Fantastic grits, good gluten free toast, nice burger, good omelette, bacon cooked how you like it best. Attentive staff who made us fee very comfortable with the kitchen practices to prevent cross-contamination. We’ll be frequent diners here.

Lots of options, friendly and aware. Pretty sensitive and didn’t get sick. Excited for a breakfast place close to the house!

Celiac friendly and guest friendly. It's a wait to get seated, but very worth it!
Dedicated Gluten Free Menu with plenty of options. Food is good and service too.
They have a nice gluten free menu and were very accommodating to make my meal dairy free as well. The food is very good here too! They also serve gluten free bread with your dinner!
This diner has a great gluten free menu with lots of options. Gluten free bread and rolls for sandwiches. Great place for breakfast and lunch.
Went to the Metro diner for breakfast. They can only offer gf toast. Not cooked separately. The waitress didn’t even know where a gf menu was. Stay away if your celiac

I love Metro Diner. They are incredibly accommodating, have a large gluten free menu, and take careful precautions. Their gluten free substitutions are very high quality (the sandwich buns are some of the best gf buns I’ve had, you can’t even tell) and many of their items are already gluten free. I’ve never gotten sick here, or at any Metro location, and the waitress here even went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and comfortable. Delicious food, fun atmosphere, and I feel great!

They have a gluten free menu upon request. Servers were very knowledgeable and were upfront about the fact that there was no fryer dedicated to GF food. They recommended substitutions for fries and tater tots because they couldn’t ensure that fries would be safe

I called and they said they had no gluten free options for some reason. Went anyway and they had a bunch of good tasting gluten free options

My mother-in-law ‘loves a diner’ and Metro is our spot - about once a month. I’ve only been diagnosed w celiac disease for 3 months so I’m still navigating it all but I was very impressed w/ Metro. They do not have ‘GF’ indicated on the menu but I’ve had multiple waitresses be very aware and helpful when I tell them ‘celiac’. I usually get an omelet and grits and GF toast. FYI - I asked and they buy Udi’s brand (from Publix) - which is actually very good GF bread.
