Their chips are not gluten free. Their corn tortillas contain flour in the mix. Do not eat here if you are celiac.

Any Enchilada with a Green Sauce instead of a Red Sauce is gluten free. On the lunch menu it comes with Rice and Beans or can be ordered al a carte. An inexpensive lunch. Comes with complimentary Chips and Salsa. I have read reviews on this site from celiacs who got sick at this restaurant. I don’t vary my choice of food here so that may be why I have not had a problem.

We were at Mi Mexico in Bellingham last night. All of the staff were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. Nearly everything on their huge menu can be made gluten free and my 12 year old celiac daughter loved her meal! We will definitely be going back!

I called the day before to see if they could make veggie fajitas gluten free, explaining that I have celiac disease and was assured that they could. But I got very bad reaction!! I didn't eat the chips assuming they were fried in cross contaminated oil. Waiter said my meal was gluten free, but they obviously don't understand what gluten free entails. Guess I'd need to read every ingredient of everything used in dish to be safe. Wish restaurants would be educated on this matter!!! Very disappointing.
