I ordered the shakshuka which was labeled GF on the menu. When it came out they served it with regular toast???
I don’t know why you’d label a menu item gluten free and then serve it with regular toast.
I had to ask because at that point because I totally didn’t trust it. And they confirmed that the toast had gluten. They asked if I wanted gluten free toast but then also told me their was cross contamination in the kitchen so I might not want the toast… so yeah - I won’t be coming back.
I could also hear the server and people in the kitchen complaining that I asked if the toast had gluten in it. (And we all know how uncomfortable it can be to ask about celiac related things in restaurants - so this was really disappointing and unprofessional to hear especially because the menu item was labeled GF)
