Mio Sushi

They have GF sushi rice and tamari! Their rolls with real crab (not glutinous 'krab') were delicious. However, the spicy tuna rolls had an unpleasant fishy taste. Takeout was ready in 10 minutes.

Dedicated GF sushi menu, and most hot kitchen items are already GF. We eat here 1 or 2 times a month and have never been sick.

Update: sadly I’ve had to revise. In the past 6 months we’ve continued to eat many times at Mio but have had safety and quality go down. Despite always stating up front we need GF/celiac safety (and real crab) we’ve had fake krab in sushi, and there is definite confusion on whether their eel is safe - so ate it twice before someone told us it wasn’t safe.

Unfortunately, we can’t risk it anymore.

I have had sushi here many times and have always loved my food. They do have a GF menu and understand which items are safe. They do have Tamari. My favorite sushi place in Bend.
