Mis Taquitos

I don't know what the other reviewer ordered or who their server was, but I had a horrible experience. The server was not knowledgable about any of the menu items and asked the chef several times which items were gluten free. I was told the tacos were gluten-free and ordered the mahi-mahi and Carne asada tacos, as well as rice and beans. At first I was told the rice and beans were NOT gluten free but the server later double checked and confirmed they were. I was unable to eat any of the tortilla chips as they are made in a shared fryer and it took over 30 mins for food to arrive at our table, another 10 for my rice & beans to arrive, and finally another 15 mins for my 2 tacos to arrive. I was so hungry at that point I took a bite of the fish taco and only after I swallowed realized they were battered and fried, not sauted/grilled as I expected. I asked the server and she confirmed that the fish was battered in flour and fried, even though the chef told her it was gluten-free. I was immediately sick and knew that it was not gluten free. They removed the fish taco from our bill, but the service was terrible and they are very ill informed. I'm so disappointed, as Mexican food is usually safe, and there aren't many gluten-free options in this neighborhood. I hope they get their act together and can offer gluten-free options in the future.

This place is a brand new hidden gem ! Absolutely loved it ! Has a lot of options tacos were amazing. I felt very safe and the chef was extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable.
