Um…. They put cornbread on my plate after I told them I needed gluten free. This makes me wonder if they even know what gluten is!

My celiac daughter ordered the Jr ribs, which was the only option in the kids menu they could make GF. Not that this was a problem: she says they were excellent, and the fries were also amazing. The staff confirmed they use a dedicated fryer for their french fries. They also provided us with an allergy menu to keep with us at the table so she'd be able to confirm which sauces were safe (one or two are not due to soy sauce, so pay attention!) One of the servers visit with us for a bit and told us she's made it part of her personal mission to take extra care with all allergy meals, especially GF, so people can eat safely. Thanks, Erica!

Ps: I always wait 12+ hours after a meal to review it, just in case. It passed the test!

The food is so tasty and I have never had any issues with what I have ordered. Their fries are especially yummy dipped in the smoky mountain sauce.

Might want to tell them a few extra times that you need gluten free - cashier and also tell the line if you don’t hear and see the cashier so it. Never saw that they cross contaminated me but a few times they took my tray and made me a new one after i/they asked if it was gluten free on pick up. Probably been here a 30 times so far. Never sick afterwards. And they have some cool sodas that I haven’t seen since childhood!

I like the lean brisket and cream soda (not together)

Great meal. GF menu. First time there, I ordered and didn’t see GF on the ticket so I went back up to the counter to double check before my meal was ready. The cashier didn’t tag it but the line stopped and listened as the manager announced my name and ticket needed to be GF. Tons of choices, no GF bread but that’s ok with me. Best of all... I didn’t get sick afterwards so... 5 stars! I’ll be back soon!!!

Always a good experience at this location and in Brandon. Great food. Gluten free menu. I always get the brisket moist with baked beans

Yes

SO delicious! GF menu and online they have a full allergen menu! Just let them know GF if you get a combo, otherwise it will come with cornbread. But with takeout, at least, it’s wrapped in foil so won’t ruin your meal if you forget!

Super knowledgeable staff and well-versed in celiac, staff has family member with celiac diagnosis. Has a dedicated GF fryer for fries. Very lovely experience and people here. Tastes great :)

My daughter has celiac and has had no reaction. The employees make sure to communicate that there is a gluten issue when preparing her food. Dedicated fryer for fries!

Mission BBQ was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great and I could even have french fries. I would definitely go back.

This is my second visit to Mission in 6 months. I don't recall what I ordered in December bit it didn't bother me. This trip I ordered the smoked hamburger without a bun (no gf option) with mashed potatoes. This will be a regular visit when I'm in DE.
