Amazing food. Full celiac friendly gluten free menu. Strange location(in the water tower building and it looks like you’re going to fast food but you aren’t). Lovely atmosphere and just wonderful food.

Food was great. Waiter brought over GF popovers when we sat down and answered all questions. I had the breakfast enchiladas with salsa verde and my son had a cheeseburger. I had to confirm that the GF bun we ordered was indeed GF as it didn't look/feel like it was. My son said it was the best. They have 2 options for dessert including a chocolate chip cookie in a skillet, but we were full.

I have to say this was my favorite meal while in Chicago, no exaggeration. Separate and LARGE gluten free menu, which is always a nice thing. So many options for GF. Not sure about the cross-contamination issue but I'm a sensitive celiac and I was OK. The GF popovers were out of this world incredible! Absolutely delicious and a nice change, to be able to get a basket of bread to start my meal! I had the deviled eggs (BEST ever) and a grilled chicken sandwich, which was great. Bread was very good and staff was very knowledgeable about GF options. A must while in Chicago!

Pretty decent gf menu. Best gf hamburger bun I have ever had. Asked the waiter twice to confirm as it was so good it was hard to believe it was gf. The popovers are amazing as well. The waiter knew the fries were not gf and automatically offered substitutions.

The gluten-free popovers were amazing! Separate gluten-free dinner menu with lots of choices. The waiter and the menu stressed that it was an open kitchen so there was always the chance of cross contamination, but I had no issue. The chicken tacos were fresh and flavourful. Great spot!

In search of a tasty burger on GF bun that doesn't crumble? No fear of cross contamination? Burger with lettuce, tomato, and mayo? While in Chicago I had been craving a burger and found this place on this app. So glad I looked at menu. Ordered $12 cheeseburger to go and it was fantastic!! Can't remember a time I enjoyed a burger more. I plan to return before my stay here is over. Someone threw in cheese/herbed bread popovers. OMG they were amazing!!! I didn't see them on menu.

So many GF choices! I had the salmon and splurged on the cookie and ice cream dessert. Wow! Really enjoyed all of it! The GF popovers alone are reason enough to try out this place. One of the biggest GF menus I have ever seen! I talked to the manager and told her they should advertise the gluten free menu- it's that good.

I had the turkey club (this was my go-to prior to being gf and I've hardly been able to get now) & it was delicious. The burgers are huge. The fries have possible cross contamination. If that's not a problem for you our waitress suggested 1/2 fries 1/2 sweet potato fries which I've never experienced before. The location is a bit odd. It's in the very back of the food court area (I know that sounds weird but the restaurant was actually nice). My vegetarian friend loved the veggie burger. The waitress was very knowledgeable & even had tried the gf menu so she offered suggestions.

They have safe GF options and quite a few including desserts. Their cheese bread is what they serve everyone and it is GF. Only complaint is that they have no desserts that are Nut Free safe. They make all their desserts in the same area and there are nuts. The manager told us she wouldn't feel safe serving any of their desserts to someone with a Tree Nut allergy.

This is a very knowledgable restaurant with a large gluten free menu. Their seafood dishes and tacos are to die for, as well as the butter brickle sundae, which I ate nearly two years ago (and I still remember how good it is lol). Definitely a place to stop in if you are at Watertower. THEIR CHEESE POPOVERS ARE THE BEST THING EVER OMG they give them to you as the starter bread and they are amazing I can't even deal go there you have to

Just ordered a Thanksgiving Dinner AND a cheeseburger off of the GF menu, since I was super hungry, and in for some food that I rarely get to eat nowadays. All hosts and servers were very nice, polite, and I thought understood that I needed Gluten Free food. I was served both plates at the same time, and the server thankfully came and grabbed my cheeseburger before I could take a bite, since it had the regular bun on it. Unfortunately, she waited until I had taken about 5 bites of what I had assumed was GF stuffing before asking me if I should be eating that. My immediate thought was, why is it on the plate if it's not GF?! She confirmed it was not, and I have now force vomited once at the restaurant, and now again at my hotel in hopes to "minimize the damage" that is going to occur over the course of the next few days. I can't begin to express how disappointed I am. I accept cross contamination as something that will happen from time to time, but serving me up a wheat bun AND wheat based stuffing in the same meal is just unbelievable.

We ate here for dinner and had a big lunch earlier, so we didn't dive deep into the menu. We had good GF burgers that were big and tasty, though the bun was very crumbly (probably not from Udi's, which makes the best GF bun we've had). The table bread was also very good (cassava based) and a nice treat - good GF bread seems somewhat rare at restaurants. Decor is semi-upscale but the place was packed (it's right off the Foodlife food court) so get a reservation to be safe. Yet another good GF option from Lettuce Entertain You, which always does it well.

Very hit or miss. Popovers they bring out to the tables are gluten free. They sometimes have an actual gluten free menu, other times they are not receptive to gluten free dining. More than once we've had to emphasize that I was intolerant/allergic in order to be taken seriously by staff and manager.

What a gem! Located in the Water Tower Mall food court in the very back. A large gluten free menu for people with a celiac allergy. Enjoyed a burger with a delicious gluten free roll, roasted potatoes, and brussel sprouts. Table rolls were gluten free and to die for (egg based ... Pop overs). Definitely a winner.
