I researched this restaurant and was excited to see that their menu listed items that are gluten free.
When my daughter and I arrived, we let the waitress know that we had Celiac Disease and she told us that it wouldn't be a problem, she'd be sure to let the kitchen know.
We placed our order, being sure only to select only items that had the GF next to the name.
The Tofu Fresh Rolls came out first. In the first bight I notice something crunchy, which made me nervous. I opened the roll and saw what looked like a fried cracker. I asked the waitress, and after checking with the kitchen she let us know that they were not gluten free.
Unfortunately, because of that single bite I was up sick all night.
I know that a lot of places roll their eyes when we tell them that we are gluten free. We try to only eat at places restaurant that reference they have gluten free options. Super disappointed in how the waitress, kitchen, & manager handled this matter.
