MOROSO Wood Fired Pizzeria

I have been gf for 15 years and been fine with long ferment sourdough. Recentlystarted to dose with ancient grains and going I can tolerate them. The house made ravioli butternut squash is a fave along with wood fired pizza (not gf but ancient Italian grains), and chocolate torte is wonderful. I love this local spot!

— Excellent

Pizza was terrible, and looked terrible. My pizza look as if a cat had pooped cheese onto it at the last moment and somehow managed to make the crust horribly burnt and undercooked at the same time. I cannot say anything in the safety or service as we did curbside.

Just ate here and I was underwhelmed and disappointed. I have had many better cauliflower crust pizzas. Maybe I came in with too high expectations, but the crust was chewy and hard (at the same time) and it was cold and did not come anywhere close to popping with flavor. I split the supreme with my husband who is also GF. I have had celiac disease for over 20 years, so I know what a good GF pizza tastes like....this was not it. :( I will not return, sadly. You can get a better GF pizza at Schlotzskys.

Great Italian gluten free options-appetizers, entrees, and pizzas. The pizza was thin crust, brick oven pizza. The center was less done than the outer edge, but that is just a matter of preference. Our family got three different pizzas and they were all delicious! Call and get a reservation, though.

Best Italian restaurant in Waco and a huge plus that they are so gluten-intolerant friendly!! Our server was extremely trained on Celiac/gluten. They have gluten free crackers for the appetizers, gluten free pasta, and now gluten free pizza! And to top it off the most delicious flourless cake. Needless to say I’m a fan and have never gotten sick here.

Staff was friendly, so knowledgeable and welcoming. Gluten free pizza was delicious and family who regular pastas all enjoyed their meals as well. Made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions.
