All of their ice cream but the obvious ones are GF. First kid was super nice - willing to get a new scoop, new container, new gloves, etc, anything to ensure we would be safe. Second girl got new scoop and rolled her eyes. Mama bear almost released. I won’t hold this place against a dumb teenager because the other was sweet! Worth a trip and prices aren’t too bad

They understood to wash the scoop and use a fresh ice cream carton. You might just have to wait 15 min for carton to thaw (or just be aware they might not have any fresh cartons for you). Then the lady asked if I wanted a cone which made me chuckle a bit.

Able to get a fresh can of the lemon curd cardamon. They used a fresh scoop for a container labeled gluten free. They had to thaw the ice cream for 30 minutes before able to scoop, but I was able to leave and come back for it.

Delicious ice cream! Only two flavors were not gluten-free. All allergies are marked, oats, diary and gluten. I had the coffee and sweet cream single scoop (they did half and half) and it was phenomenal!!!

The workers were nice but they only had one gluten free option out of all of their flavors. Unfortunately we need to worry about dairy free too so it was a bit of a bummer. I’m sure it’s good if you don’t have allergies but we paid $18 for two kiddie dishes.

The ice cream here is so good! Many very unusual flavors. All items have allergens listed. Servers were great about getting clean scoops and scraping the ice cream. Visited here twice over 3 days. Well worth the wait. They also have dairy free options.

Some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had! Allergens are listed on the ice cream display case. Anything with a wheat stock has gluten in it. Anything with a milk carton has dairy in it. But they always have at least two dairy free sorbets. Ask for a separate scoop, and you’re good to go!

Staff members scooped my wheat allergic and dairy allergic sons’ ice creams separately from the rest of the groups. They made note of allergies and confirmed them when they served us. My husband and I liked it a lot, the flavors were a little too out there for my kids.

Reportedly the best ice cream in Maine and in the top 10 in the USA. Visited during covid pandemic so that probably altered the experience—Ordered from outside and couldn’t inspect ingredients easily or know what was in the flavors. Nothing was marked as GFree on the board. Was hard to ask questions through plexi glass. There were no samples to taste test. I had the cherry chocolate, and it was good but tart.

Was informed that this was the best ice cream in Bar Harbor so we called to ask about GF options. We were informed that they could use a fresh scooper, but I was worried about cross contamination in the bins. Our server offered to retrieve a fresh bin from the back of any flavor but it would require s 15 minute wait time. She did have a fresh chocolate ready to go. My daughter ordered that in a cup and I believe it was the best flavor in the parlor!!!

Offered to clean out the ice cream and then use a brand new scooper. Also got new toppings from the back. Made my kid’s day!
