Review of Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant

The waiter was very knowledgeable about celiac and assured me the kitchen staff take appropriate precautions. They have gluten free, nut free, and dairy free options on their menu. They have gluten free buns for a burger or sandwich. I had the Tavern Cobb Salad which was delicious. My meal came out separately from everyone else’s. My family members had the chicken and waffles and said it was delicious! They also had the Hoecake (a George Washington favorite) as an appetizer and said it was good too!
