Great food at reasonable prices. There is no gluten-free menu, but the staff is very accommodating when it comes to special diets (not just gluten-free, but also vegetarian and vegan, and probably other needs/allergies/intolerances). I really enjoyed my Kartoffelpuffer and delicious sundae, especially since gluten-free desserts are hard to come by. The only hiccup I experienced was that the waitress bringing me the sundae was different than the one I had ordered my dessert with, so my first sundae had a wafer in it. As a celiac, I made sure that I received a new sundae without any sort of gluten decoration. The staff was very understanding. I did not ask about how cross contamination is avoided, and the wafer incident makes me hesitant to really label this place as "celiac friendly", but, overall, I felt comfortable eating here.

Edited October 11, 2017:

I had lunch at this restaurant again, and was disappointed. The menu options have changed dramatically. The gluten-free (and vegetarian) portobello steak that I had was good, but I had really been looking forward to the Kartoffelpuffer or another gluten-free vegetarian dish that was more to my liking. In addition to none of the new menu items being traditionally from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, I was informed that there were no more gluten-free dessert options. All of this combined together with the (now?) unreasonably high prices, will cause me to eat elsewhere next time.
