My Grandma's Empanadas

I went here based on reviews. This place does not offer anything gluten free except half an avocado. There are corn empanada but all of the cookware and fryers are shared so nothing is celiac safe. Very disappointing.

My daughter has celiac. They have a separate fryer for their corn fritter empanadas… corn fritters stuffed with beef. Rice and stuffed avocado are options for sides.

— Excellent

You must let them know but they have a separate fryer that they use to make special gluten free empanadas made with corn flour. The only one they can make gf is the beef empanada I’m 50% sure. I have tried both the side salad and rice. The most recent time I said I needed a gf empanada and when I was severed it they asked if it was “allergy” and when I said yes they took it back and said “I’m so sorry we will cook a new one in the dedicated fryer”. We cannot eat much there but the fact that they even offer an empanada is amazing!
