You can order almost any main course on the menu, but they cook it with gf soy sauce and bring it out separately. I had the chicken and fried rice and it was good. Show was great to watch. Our chef was wonderful.

Food was delicious. They prepare in kitchen. I got the hibachi chicken and it was delicious. They bought out free snap peas as appetizer that was also good.

They made my food in the back and it was delicious!! Instead of the noodles, they brought me edamame. I am not a fan, but I tried them! For the salad, I had to have Italian dressing. Still good 🙂

Very accommodating...from the phone call to the service when we arrived. I explained how I had celiac and they knew immediately what I could not have. They do not have a separate menu, but again the ingredients are listed for the sushi. Very pleased with the service and Yokke was very courteous and attentive

Cooked food separately in the kitchen and I didn't have reaction so I recommend it as safe to eat. Unfortunately, couldn't have the soup, salad, or pasta and the only substitution offered was steamed edamame and I was still charged the same price so a little disappointed about that.

I went here with my family based on the reviews I've read. The manager was very rude they had 3 large tables with 2 to 3 people only, and refused accomodating us on a separate table even though I explained my needs to avoid cross contamination.

Soup & salad were not gluten free (or sushi) but rest of the menu could be made gluten free (use gluten free soy sauce). They make it in the back so feel a little left out but better than nothing!

Server didn't know if they had a GF menu and had to go ask in the back. They didn't. I ordered a side of chicken and potato. The man who prepared the food used the same utensils for the noodles and my potatoes then put teriyaki sauce on my chicken! ugh! hungry!

We could not have been more happy with Nakato. The staff was kind and courteous and extremely respectful of our gluten sensitive family. We had an entire table to ourselves, so he did the entire show for our kids, which they thought was fantastic! We could not have been more happy with the entire experience at Nakato and we may even go back before we leave the beach!

The hostess was extremely helpful on what could be cooked GF and what would be substituted if not. We told the waitress when we ordered and she said no problem! I got filet and it was cooked in the back and brought out when the chef began to cook. It was WONDERFUL! I was nervous and fully expected some sort of reaction but had none! I haven't had real hibachi in years, very thankful to find a restaurant who cares about their customers!

I called ahead to make sure this place had gluten free options available and the hostess on the phone was extremely helpful! then when we arrived she told every staff member around of our allergies. the food was cooked in the back which made me nervous but it was delicious and so far no reaction!

this is the first Japanese steakhouse that I have been to that is familiar with gluten. my food was cooked in the back. I was a little nervous when I saw the soy sauce on the table listed wheat in the ingredients. I didn't get sick, so I was happy!

Best hibachi and very entertaining. cooked gf food separately in back kitchen on dedicated cooking surface. I will go to no other hibachi steakhouse.

Nakato did a great job for my 3 year old, who has celiac. Her meal was prepared separately. The hostess, waiters, and cook all knew what she could have and did everything they could to make sure she had a good meal and great time. Food was yummy all the way around.
