I went out to Nalu with friends, we called ahead to make sure the GF options were celiac safe (they were and understood the importance). When discussing the menu items with the server, they pointed out on the GF menu which items were the safest for sensitive cases and guided how to order to ensure cross contamination isn’t a factor (ex. they gave: don’t bake the taco shells & avoid the fried foods [wings]). I landed on the edamame for ap. and fried rice for entree (I was hesitant to order ‘fried’ rice but it worked out well and was a great alternative to sushi bowls). I really enjoyed the meal and I (v. sensitive celiac and temporarily dairy free) had no issues.

Biggest recommendation is to make sure your server is aware and make sure they know how serious/ sensitive your case is.
