Our first time eating here... delish! The chef (Paul) and staff went above and beyond to be sure everything was prepared properly. We will definitely be back!!

If you have celiac, eat somewhere else. I asked if the sushi had rice wine vinegar based upon reading past reviews, was told no, so I asked to see an allergen menu. No allergen list, ordered sushi assured it was GF. It came out on a platter touching my husband’s fried food and drizzled in eel sauce, which isn’t GF. Asked to talk to the chef. Was told he wouldn’t talk to me. Then staff asked “what is gluten anyways.” Explained what it is, she said, “oh yeah there’s wheat in that.” Chef came out mad that I requested the food to be comped to I could go somewhere else for dinner. He argued that it was GF even though he said he didn’t know what was in the eel sauce- he asked why I ordered it if I knew it had rice wine vinegar (I was explicitly told it didn’t after asking) and was extremely rude. He then only comped the sushi and not the rest of the meal, showing poor service.

Moral of the story, go somewhere else. Whoever was working when I went didn’t even know what gluten was but continued to insist food was safe before asking.

Talked to the staff about having a gluten allergy, staff asked how severe. I asked if they were able to clean the hibatchi surface and tools before mine, they did. He even got different tools. They were knowledgeable and were more than willing to make sure I didn't get sick. Food was very good.

They were very knowledgeable and the food was good. You have to tell them you’re gluten free at the counter. Everything except fried items can be made GF. If you order sushi, be patient because they’ll make fresh rice for the roll with GF vinegar and it takes a little while. The facility is clean and modern. This is a take out casual dining self-serve facility so don’t expect a table side wait staff.
