Review of Napa Flats

If you are celiac, forget it! Don’t go! Today I went to this restaurant and was a total disappointing experience. I contact them before going just to be sure if a person with allergy to gluten can have a safe meal there. They said: yes. Wrong answer. My order was a GF Margherita pizza and it wasn’t gluten free at all as they claim in their menu. The waitress apologizes and bring me back another “GF” Margherita pizza. I asked her all the questions I should ask in order to have a safe meal.I did it once, twice. She always replied that everything was gluten free. Please Napa, understand that offering a GF menu means that all your ingredients must be GF and you must avoid cross-contamination as well. If you do not understand this, you are playing with celiac’s health and life. Napa could send me straight to the hospital today. Fortunately, I had my gluten sensor with me. The result? ”Gluten Found”, twice! This place need to be more careful. They must take into account this incident and do it better next time or do not offer any GF item in the future.
