Went to the “Avoiding Gluten” stand and asked if everything was prepped safely, they said yes, then saw a sign next to the register that said items are fried in a shared fryer lol.

2022 EDIT: my review below from 2021 is now out of date. Nats Park got rid of the gf hot dogs and local cider at the Avoiding Gluten stand, and now your only safe options as a Celiac are arepas. As others have noted, the stand also sells several items that are labeled as gf that are not safe for Celiacs, including yucca fries and tequeños prepared in a fryer shared with breaded foods, and Omission beer. Yuck. It was also the only place in the entire park I could find a single can of cider - thankfully gf - and it was a really unappetizing Bold Rock. At least the staff were kind! (Another point of frustration: on mobile ordering, the menu showed last season’s items, rather than the current menu printed on their signs, so I didn’t know until I got to the kiosk what my options actually were.) I asked about allergies at other stalls like District Coolers, and concessions staff there weren’t trained about allergy info for what they were selling. Might be better to eat outside the park this season, Celiacs.

I don’t know how helpful this review will be after the 2021 season, since the Park seems to make big concessions changes each year, but for now, there’s an awesome stand right across from the main team store called “Avoiding Gluten feat. Arepa Zone”. The food (hot dog with gf bun, arepas, “yucca fries” that were basically fried cheese balls) is all Celiac-friendly gluten free, and I ate multiple foods and felt just fine after. They also sell a few drinks, including local Lost Boy cider (yum!), some Bud Light seltzer kinds of things (not my area of expertise), and Omission (Celiacs: NOT ACTUALLY GF, argh).

Check what’s GF in 2022 as the yucca fritters I found out are NOT GF. I was told they are fried with something else that contains gluten. I think the “Avoiding gluten” stand was taken over by Arepa zone and not everything is GF. They told me the Arepas are GF just not the fritters.

So disappointed Nats Park got rid of so many gluten-free options, especially the kid-friendly ones! Please bring back the full stand with options my 5 year-old will eat!

The Avoiding Gluten stand was fantastic! I had the yucca fritters and chicken arepa. They were delicious and something I look forward to getting again the next time I am at the park.

Yes, the gluten free Arepa Zone is there again this season! It’s a little stand on the Center Field Plaza near the main team store. Food was good.

Absolutely delicious we got the hot dog and the beef arepa. So easy to pick up, friendly cashiers, and food was packaged well. Next game, I will definitely go back.

The yucca fritters are amazing! Like all ballpark food, it is way overpriced but that’s to be expected. I was happy to find safe GF options once inside the park.

I had the chicken arepas from the dedicated gluten free stand. It was delicious. I did not have any negative reaction afterwards.

I don’t understand why anybody gave this a bad review. Just ate arepas here and they were absolutely amazing!! Also got a hot dog bc I could but I’m too stuffed to eat it. The sauce with the arepas was incredible. We got a local cider to have with it. Prices were good. So so happy to have an amazing gluten free option at the stadium!!

Only have arepas, yucca fritters and hot dogs. The yucca fritters are great, everything else is disappointing.

The Nats have changed their gluten-free options and now only have arepas, yucca fritters and a hot dog. A terrible change for GF kids. My young daughter with celiac disease was hugely disappointed that her favorite nachos were gone.

Kiosk is located behind left field. Can confirm it’s as the other reviews...hot dogs, nachos, pork sandwich, all on Udi breads. Also redbridge, Stella Artois cider, Omission. We had 4 hot dogs, and had no issues. Customer service could be an area for improvement.
Like Fenway Park, Nationals Park has a dedicated GF kiosk that served hot dogs and BBQ sandwiches all available on Udi’s bread. Omission (two types), Red Bridge and cider also available. Most beer vendors around the park also sell cider and other GF drink options.

It’s nice to have a place where I can have options to eat at the park. That being said, the people who work the stand are so rude. I have been there several times since they opened it years ago and every time they were rude. Also, this time they added the words “avoiding gluten” in front of each menu item when before it said gluten free. I thought oh well they probably just have to say that after all it is a completely gluten free area right? Well they were out of everything except a hot dog and pizza and since I’m vegetarian, I went with the cheese pizza which is a frozen Udis that they opened right out of the box in front of me. Waited the ten minutes for it and then went to my seat where I ate only the pizza and drank a Dasani water which I also purchased there. The pizza was underdone and tasted pretty bad. To top it all off, afterwards I got sick and was sick all night long. Not sure if it was the oven they use or what but I now see why it says “avoiding gluten”. Should have just skipped the stand all together. So watch out.
Outstanding service & great food. Ate there last night at the Eagles concert. It was so great to have a GF option!

The Nationals have a separate vendor (called the “Gluten Free Grill”) at which you can purchase hot dogs and sausages with gluten-free buns, cheese and pepperoni pizza, nachos, snacks, and cider, all of which are celiac safe. I ordered a hot dog with gluten-free bun, the price for which was comparable to other hot dogs around the park; the bun was very similar in taste and texture to regular bread, which I appreciated. I will definitely return to this booth during the next Nats game that I attend.
Awesome to have this option! Got the Italian sausage on a bun and it passes Nima testing. Just know they do NOT have separate condiments so there is a risk of cross contamination if you choose to use ketchup or mustard, etc. I chose not to as it is too risky. Excellent experience.

Honestly one of the safest places to eat in DC. All the bread products and the pizza are Udis and ballpark prices but whatever, you can eat at the ballpark!
Good ballpark overall. Cider and other gluten free options are available if you search for them. There is a gluten free vendor near the nats store that has hot dogs, nachos, alcohol, and other safe options.

Awesome to be able to have a hot dog and cider at a ball game!

The National Stadium has The Gluten Free Grill. Wonderful to have this so my son can enjoy going to the game too. Hot dogs, pull pulled sandwich, and nachos. Gluten free soda, beer and wine. Thank you Nationals for thinking of your gluten free baseball fans!

Hooray! How happy I was to not be eating salad at a ballpark. I got the hot dog WITH a bun. Also they have pulled pork and Italian sausage. Also hard cider (Cidre) and GF beer. Easy to find, once you enter the ballpark, it was labeled and easy to locate. There was a line...which makes me happy. I want them to keep things like this around :-)

Hot dogs, Italian sausage, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, nachos, pepperoni, cheese or margarita pizza, white cheddar popcorn in a bag, Redbridge beer, Stella Artois hard cider. 2016- located on lower level center field just to left of main entrance as you enter the park

This concession stand is outdoors and you can locate it by coming in the entrance way and then turning your first left it will be on the right side about 20 feet. It also serves pulled pork with a gluten-free bun, hot dogs with of course a gluten-free bun, pop corn and many different types of pizza that are GF. I'm not a fan of gluten-free beer but they have that there too.

Has a gluten free kiosk right after you enter the ballpark.
I'm thankful for a stand that is gluten free.. that said- Can we get some salads or vegetables there? There are salads sold elsewhere in the stadium, but those are not made from a gluten free perspective. Their buns are Udi's - which have a lot of cross reactive grains, if you are sensitive. I am personally very sensitive to those buns, so that stand is just as contaminated for me as all of the others.
Great gluten free stand at 114 with Italian sausage, pulled pork sandwich, hot dogs, nachos, beer, chips, Larabar, organic pumpkin seeds, caramel popcorn, berry and nuts, chocolate bar, gummy bears, and skittles. Snacks were pricey but pork sandwich was great!
It's nice to have a dedicated stand for gluten-free concessions. There's a pretty good variety of food - better options for meat-eaters than for vegetarians though - and there's Redbridge beer.
