Worst service in town, something is very wrong with the people who work here, they don't care about anything. We use to love going to 99 in Maine but this place has ruined it. I've got Celiac, when I told waitress, she said "poor you, you should probably stay home to eat" I asked for salmon with no spices on it (just plain) well it came all spiced up, when I asked to bring it back and please make a new one, she stormed off and made the kind of face my teenage daughter would when told "no". Well she proceeded to ignore us (never came back to our table), we asked another waitress near bye to go get her and she never came back to see us??? We asked to speak to manager to another different waitress who said "he's not here" We walked out. Last week we ordered by phone to pick up and when we got there nobody knew where our order was? We should of known then never to go back, so sad! We've never experienced anything like this before, anywhere!
I keep at this 99 restaurant all the time. Their gluten free menu isn't vast, but it has enough choices to satisfy most. These gluten-free all-star steak burger is my favorite. There gluten free roll is "acceptable" ( at least they have one) however the burger itself is phenomenal. With a side of a loaded baked potato and broccoli it makes for a really good meal. The servers generally understand celiac disease and are helpful in making selections. All of the steaks are also gluten free as are the turkey tips, though they're not on the gluten free menu.

Went there with my family. My sister in law and I are gluten free. She had the balsamic chicken and I had the bacon cheeseburger with mashed potatoes. The fries are not gluten safe. The waiter was very helpful and we were able to see the items marked for gluten sensitivity on the menu
No gluten free menu. Items are marked Gluten Sensitive.
— No gluten-free information on the menu
I’ve eaten at many of the locations and have always been treated very well. The staff at this restaurant was courteous and knowledgeable about my gluten-free needs. Food was served by a manager and was clearly marked as an allergy alert meal.

My husband, who is a very sensitive Celiac person, consistently has the gluten free All Star burger without issue. He usually gets mashed potatoes and a vegetable with it. The bun looks like Udi’s, and he says it’s good. He has never gotten sick with this meal. Not sure if other options would be as safe given his sensitivity to cross contamination.
