If you are looking for a great GF birthday cake, try their strawberry shortcake or chocolate cake, at this location or at their other location on 24th in San Francisco. My favorite that I’ve been getting for my birthday year after year is the strawberry shortcake, so moist and flavorful. I always buy extra strawberries to top. Their double chocolate fudge cookies are super yummy, and I’ve had a couple of their seasonal fruit tarts that blew me away. I’m super picky, a good cook and a super taster, and I love their “made without gluten” baked goods. I’ve never had a reaction from contamination and I’m pretty sensitive. If you “identify” as a senior, they even offer a considerable discount. Call ahead to secure yours.

We used to come here before the celiac diagnosis, and their baked goods are delicious. But while they have items that are marked "made without gluten," I asked the staff and they said that they would not recommend eating the items for someone with celiac, since they do not take precautions to avoid cross-contamination. What a loss!
