Very good pastries with lots of options.
They are more expensive, but definitely worth it.
The chocolate eclairs are fantastic and the croissants are flaky.
The spinach and feta quiche was really delicious!!

Dedicated high-quality gluten free bakery. Lots of options, both savoury and sweet.
NoGlu is located 1 block from the East 90th Street entrance to Central Park, so it's not only a great lunch spot for dining in, but also a good stop to pick up some sandwiches, brownies and other baked goods for your Central Park picnic!

Ideal to combine with a bike ride through Central Park. As a sucker for anything sweet, I of course had to visit here. The croissants were not quite what I had hoped for, but the pastries were. Please note that the prices match the neighborhood they are in 😉

Was visiting the Guggenheim and searched on GF so figured I had to stop in. I’m from out of town and a fully gf cafe is something special. I had a quiche with salad. Very nice but pricey. Hey it’s GF in the Upper Eastside.

So delicious, the chocolate croissant, marble cake and baguette were delicious! It was very expensive but also very delicious…

So yummy. Had a Quiche and apple tart. Everything was delicious and the vibe is nice inside. Great latte. Grab and go sammies and a nlock from the park perfect for a picnic. Pricey though.

Beyond expensive. Like $7 for a single croissant. Splurged because where else can you get GF croissants and good breakfast sandwiches

Super expensive but the brownies and cookies were really good!

Astronomically expensive. The food is good but overpriced even for gluten free treats, which are often expensive to begin with. I had a veggie everything bagel which tasted good and was well filled, a chocolate eclair which was nice and sweet and a bottle of water and the total bill was $50. I also found the staff to be slightly rude and not very welcoming. There are other GF places I would return to in NYC before Noglu.

They have a good selection of savory and sweet goods. Tastes solid but way too expensive.

It’s so incredibly expensive. Each time I visit, there is an irate customer. It’s good and safe and pleasant. But the cost is for rich people. A croissant is $7 and is only 4-5 inches it would be called a mini anywhere else. The tarts are $11. A quiche square is $20.

Same as with the Paris location, the quality of your experience really does depend on what you order. Not everything is a knockout, which is disappointing considering the price. I had the cream puff with praline cream, which was delicious, but extremely expensive.

I had their blueberry muffins. Pretty solid but quite expensive.

Compared to Noglu’s Paris branch, this is just not worth the visit. Kitchen is closed beyond 3pm. Staff are rude. Prices are astronomical. Sandwiches are dry and flavourless.

Very nice bistro lunch near the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Interesting menu, fresh salads, a delicious GF baked goods and good service makes for a memorable experience.

Fully gf but not that good - I came at the end of the day and most of the food I ordered was dry! Definitely GF but not as good as I wanted it to be

I picked up pastries, but the cafe was adorable and I hope to come back for breakfast or lunch some time. Here’s what I tried: Cream puff and chocolate eclair were life changing! Blueberry muffin and chocolate chip cookie very good Blueberry tart- wonderful crust, filling good Coconut tart- same Croissant fair Overall experience- fantastic

Came within a few hours of opening and they either were sold out of croissants or didn’t make any that day? Seems to be a common theme.
The breakfast plate with corn muffin, croque monsieur, and quiche were good but not outstanding. Snagged some cookies to try later too. Everything is super expensive - not sure I’d go out of my way for this.

I’ve enjoyed my food every time I’ve gone. Particular favorite is the cream puff. It is expensive, but worth it for a special no-worry treat.

Arrived when they opened and had a chocolate and vanilla eclair with fresh squeezed orange juice. Absolutely delicious but expensive even for NYC. 100% recommend for the eclairs

Went an hour before close so I could only get what was premade. The sandwich was good but not worth $15.
I also got a chocolate tart, vanilla eclair, and a banana chocolate chip muffin. The muffin was okay, but the other two were so good.
I’d recommend the baked goods and skip the sandwiches

We loved the breakfast plate! The salmon was absolutely delicious. We visited from SF and honestly the prices are not bad compared to what we buy at home.

We arrived a minute or two just shy of 1 hour before closing. I was excited to try the croque monsieur, as this is something I've never seen GF before and something I enjoyed in a couple of times in my pre-GF days. We were told that we could not order it as the kitchen was closed for the day. We ordered something pre-made and it was ok but nothing amazing or memorable especially considering the price. Had we known about the early closure we would have made sure to arrive on time.
The following day, still craving the croque monsieur we decided to go out of our way to return. The sandwich was nothing special, and wasn't even warm. It tasted like a very boring ham and cheese sandwich you would buy at a cheap drugstore. It was a huge dissapointment.
New York has multiple GF gems, this is not one of them. It is also over priced, even for New York.

Great bacon egg and cheese on a good bun but very expensive and not big. Nice to have a safe place for BEC but hard to justify $23 for it

Really fun to try a croissant and Croque Monsieur sandwich, but agree with previous reviews that this is very overpriced. The food was great, but not earth-shattering when there’s so many options in NYC. I spent over $50 on a croissant, sandwich, and coffee. Should probably be listed as $$$.

I’ve been here twice and cannot understand why they are still in business. The prices are ASTRONOMICAL, even for gluten free food in New York. A single croissant is more than $10, and a single serving of quiche is more than $20. Their soggy, prepared white bread sandwiches are $15. The kitchen closes while they are open, so the menu is not available during business hours and you’re stuck with whatever stale foods are sitting in the window. The items I tried, including a lemon tart, were mediocre at best. I will never return.

Amazing cakes totally gluten free - I was in gluten free cake heaven! Wish they had this place in uk! Bit expensive but totally worth it. Also grabbed a sandwich to have later

It is incredibly overpriced for ridiculously small portions that are not even good. $11.50 for a 2 inch by 2 inch croissant....and it did not taste good. I know gluten free food is more expensive, but this is astronomical and I know of other completely gluten free places that have much better food, are a lot cheaper, and have bigger portions. Don't spend your money here. Go to By the Way Bakery, Modern Bread & Bagel (they have baked goods too), and Agata & Valentina (store) has good croissants. It is very disappointing that a place that is safe for celiacs, is so overpriced and not worth it.

Honestly hate to say this but everything was really dry and SO expensive. The sandwiches are good heated up but just be warned that the pastries are as dry as the Sahara :((

Wonderful! The food was delicious and it’s such a great feeling to know anything on the menu can be safely ordered. Our whole family enjoyed their meal. Croissants are very difficult to replicate GF, however we enjoyed it anyway!

GF chocolate croissants. Enough said. Make sure to go early in the day to get them before they sell out. Lots of great grab and go lunch options. Huge pastry case - especially loved the lemon meringue tart and cream puff.

I had the oatmeal with coconut and peanut butter- very tasty! I didn’t try any of the pastries, but they looked delicious. It’s always nice to go somewhere where you know you can eat safely.

Don’t waste your money on the croissant - was so excited for the first GF croissant I’ve come across and probably would’ve been better fresh in the morning, but needless to say I wouldn’t waste the money on it again. The lemon tart and hazelnut pastry were very good, but this place is totally overhyped. They need to lower their prices if they want to become a GF NYC staple.

Killer eclair, good sandwich, but skip the $10.50 croissant—even this great place can’t get blood from a stone (it looked great, had a fantastic buttery taste, but I guess I’ll never get that flaky goodness again. I think they’ve probably made the best stab at a gf croissant.)

Pricey but good. I enjoyed the vegan loaf. I do wish there were more vegan options. Yummy pastries and coffee but not worth the price for the rest of it IMO. Cute outdoor area.
