I recently dined at this restaurant that proudly advertised gluten-free options, but my experience left me deeply disappointed. As someone with a gluten allergy, I was excited to try their offerings, but to my dismay, gluten was still present in the dishes. When I inquired with the waitress about gluten-free choices, she candidly admitted that nothing in their kitchen was safe for someone with celiac disease or a gluten allergy. Some examples were gluten free pasta boiled in same water as regular pasta, all utensils and kitchen equipment is used on gluten free & regular offerings along with the same pizza oven & pans used on all pizzas..
This revelation was quite alarming and unsettling, as I ended up experiencing severe symptoms after my meal. I believe it's essential for a restaurant to be transparent and accurate about their gluten-free claims, especially for individuals who rely on them for safe dining options. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone with serious gluten allergies or celiac disease due to the potential health risks involved.

The very best gluten free pizza I have had in San Diego. Sausage has an amazing flavor-spot on. Added with lots of cheese caramelize onions, olives, and a chili sauce. This is not a cauliflower pizza! It’s a gluten-free masterpiece!

The GF chocolate hazelnut cake is divine! Paired with an almond milk latte with GF hazelnut flavor, it’s a filbert-lover’s dream! Only had desserts. Asked the waitress what was GF as it was not marked. She was knowledgeable. There were GF macarons and brûlée as well. Saw the non-GF desserts being loaded above the GF brûlée with some cross contamination happening. Perhaps they could display the GF items on the top shelf only to avoid contamination.

Amazing staff. Gluten free pasta available and delicious! I’m gluten intolerant and unsure if I’m affected by cross contamination. I did not ask the staff how separately the food is prepared. The exact GF meals are not marked, just a comment below the pasta section, but our waiter took the time to share them with me and specify which pastas were pre-made and unable to be made GF.
